Zoe Marshall, wife of South Sydney Rabbitohs player Benji Marshall, has voiced her fears ahead of a sudden COVID-19 relocation.
The mum-of-two will be moving to Queensland with her husband and their young children as part of the new NRL coronavirus bubbles.
With Sydney battling the Delta variant of the virus, hundreds of athletes and their families will head north to escape the outbreak so they can keep playing NRL.
Zoe and her family will be among them, but with the new mum having just welcomed her second child last month, it’s a daunting prospect.
She gave birth to her and Benji’s daughter Ever on June 15, and now the whole family – including son Fox – will have to relocate with a newborn.
Zoe aired her fears in a series of candid Instagram Stories where she opened up about the impact the move was having on her.
“The look of a newborn mum realising she needs to pack up life for her family and move to QLD this week for the inevitable future. This was not in the fourth trimester ‘how to’ book,” she wrote across a tired-looking selfie.
Zoe followed it up with a second Story, where she added: “Also the realisation that she has no clothes that fit and has been living only in pyjamas.”
The new mum closed off with a final matching selfie and the caption: “Also realising she hasn’t seen people for four weeks and will have to leave the house.”

What’s more stressful is the fact that Zoe and her family will be living in a bubble and don’t know when they’ll be returning home.
Sydney-based NRL stars and their families and support crews will be moving into “hubs” across Queensland from Wednesday.
The families and teams will live in three hotels on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane, which will be used exclusively for the NRL bubbles.
Once there, they will have to undergo a 14-day “managed quarantine” where they will be unable to leave the hotels.
They’ll spend the next two months of the 2021 NRL season living in these bubbles designed to allow games to go ahead while reducing the spread of COVID-19.
All nine Sydney teams will head north along with the Canberra Raiders, Newcastle Knights and New Zealand Warriors also joining them.
