When I’m 64…

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in 1984…

Today, aged 65, he’s “still a hottie” according to his co-star Cate Blanchett.

Michael Douglas starred in Basic Instinct 15 years ago…

The hair has greyed since then, but at 63 he’s still got the brooding look.

Clint Eastwood ruled the silver screen in the sixties and seventies…

And at 77 years old, he’s still going strong today.

Jack Nicholson‘s cheeky grin made him one of the most sought-after men in Hollywood back in the seventies…

Not much has changed — at 70, Jack’s still a hit with the ladies!

Al Pacino, pictured here in the 1983 film Scarface, was always good at playing the tough guy…

These days, at age 67, he hasn’t lost that bad boy appeal.

Sean Connery was a lady-magnet back in 1965 when he played James Bond

And at the ripe old age of 77, we reckon he’s still looking pretty dapper.

Sidney Poitier cut a fine figure back in 1970…

Believe it or not, he’s now 80 years old. He doesn’t look a day over 65!

Robert Redford looked Chesty-Bonds-hot in the 1984 flick The Natural

Now at age 70, he’s more comfortable in beige suits and long socks … but he’s still pretty cute.

Vote now! Which actor has aged the best?

Reese’s beauty secrets

Oscar winner, style icon and mother-of-two, gorgeous Reese Witherspoon also recently became the first ever Avon Global Ambassador. Not only is she the spokeswoman for Avon’s beauty brands, she’s also become the honorary chairwoman of the Avon Foundation, a charity initiative that focuses on breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief for women. How does 31-year-old Reese manage to fit it all in to her busy life and still have time to look so great? This week in Woman’s Day we reveal her working-mum beauty secrets.

How would you describe your make-up style?

Quick! I like to keep things quick and easy so I can be up and out in five minutes. I think you have to be when you have kids. You have to be ready to go all the time.

Did your mother or grandmother give you any beauty tips?

I think the thing I wish I’d heard was, “Wear more sunscreen!”

How has your skin changed from your twenties to your thirties?

Those things you think you need at 15 obviously change in your twenties and, now that I’m in my thirties, it’s definitely different. Skincare and sun protection are the biggest things for me.

Do you believe being a beauty and style icon gives you the power to make a difference in people’s lives?

Absolutely … through making them feel good and through building their self-esteem. Avon does a great job of that — not only through the beauty products, but in working with a foundation that supports women’s causes and things they are most concerned about.

Why did you want to become involved in the Avon Foundation?

I feel a great responsibility to give back to society. I’m lucky and privileged to have an opportunity to be able to work with a company that reaches out and changes women’s lives — and globally. It’s like a big international family and a way to reach many women across the world.

Blue Wiggle Anthony: Meet my beautiful baby boy

The famous entertainer shares the bright new addition to his young family.

Pre-school superstar Anthony Field finally has a little blue wiggle of his own! Proudly showing off his bouncing baby son, the top-rating RSPCA Animal Rescue host laughingly admits he came late to fatherhood.

But 44-year-old Anthony and his beautiful wife, Miki, have certainly put a wiggle on since their fun-filled multicultural marriage in May 2003.

Lovely Lucia, aged three-and-a-half, was conceived on their wedding night. Her sister Maria was born in 2005 — the same day that Anthony’s beloved Wests Tigers won the Rugby League premiership.

And baby made three when Antonio Carlos Field arrived on Black Friday, April 13, at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, weighing a healthy 3.5kg.

It’s a far cry from Anthony’s pin-up days as Cleo Bachelor of the Year, but the mega-rich — and remarkably modest entertainer — couldn’t be happier. Anthony says Miki has helped him defeat the black dog of depression that stalked him for years, despite his worldwide success.

In a funny, frank and sometimes moving interview, the Blue Wiggle and his wife invite Woman’s Day into their home to share their thoughts on family, fame and Dorothy the Dinosaur.

You’re not doing badly for a couple who feared you’d never have children, are you?

Anthony: It’s amazing. Miki had severe endometriosis and only a month before our wedding, she was in hospital trying to get it all fixed up. We didn’t know if it would ever be possible for us to have kids. We thought we’d have too many fox terriers forever, but that changed pretty quickly.

Miki: We are blessed. After Antonio was born, Anthony got a tee-shirt with “I make good babies” written on the chest!

Has having children of your own made you a better Wiggle?

Anthony: Totally. I was an early childhood teacher, but even that’s different from having your own kids. I think The Wiggles have become more inclusive of the girly world. We’ve got more fairy tales and princesses. We used to be more about pirates and boy things, like Captain Feathersword. So my family has probably inspired me to be more encompassing of things that would appeal to girls.

What’s their favourite Wiggly thing?

Anthony: Dorothy the Dinosaur! Maria loves Jeff (the Purple Wiggle) too. I don’t get a look in, but that’s cool.

What kind of a father are you?

Anthony: I think I’m a dad who just keeps trying his best and realises his limitations. Children are very demanding and you can’t always give them the answers, although you want to. Sometimes they stump me and I just don’t know what to say; sometimes I don’t know how to console them when they’re upset. But I try to be an honest dad. I keep learning lessons from the children as well, which is good.

Do your children know how famous you are?

Anthony: It doesn’t mean anything to them, especially at their age. We get recognised and people come up to talk, but it’s always positive. It’s just part of our daily life. I certainly don’t get a big head over it. You still have to be a nice person, no matter how famous you are, and I hope my kids will realise that.

Will they follow in your footsteps?

Anthony: If they want to dance or sing, fantastic, but we don’t want to push them in any way. At home, we try to encourage them to be whatever they want to be, do whatever they want to do, because it’s very entertaining. Lucia is a classic girly girl; she dances all day on her toes.

Miki: There’s always something going on. It’s never boring. I think all three of them will be entertainers — although Maria loves the smell of my coffee, so you never know.

The Wiggles’ new DVD Pop Go The Wiggles! is out now. Their national tour starts in Perth early December. For dates, see www.thewiggles.com

12-year-old: I’ve been modelling since eight

Young Morgan Featherstone and her mum defend pre-teen modelling, following the international outrage over a 12-year-old model as the face of fashion week.

Morgan is a model child. Blonde, leggy and blue-eyed, she’s polite, kind, studious, and popular with schoolmates and teachers.

A typical 12-year-old, she’s crazy about wildlife, adores her pet dogs, admires Bindi Irwin, loves playing sport, laughs at The Simpsons and still likes hanging out with her parents.

She’s also the girl who created global shockwaves when, aged only eight, she posed for photos in sultry, Lolita-style make-up that portrayed her as a pouting sex kitten.

Today, modelling at least once a week, Morgan is a comparatively grown-up Year 8 student. Her part-time job has earned a healthy trust fund and flown her around the world. She has met Cameron Diaz, Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, Cold Chisel, Delta Goodrem and Kiss. She even appeared in a Gene Simmons video clip! But for Morgan, it’s not about fame or money.

“I like getting dressed up, getting the shots done, seeing the result,” Morgan beams, cosmetic-free and chilling out at home in Brisbane, her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

“Mum has always asked if I wanted to stop or carry on, so she’s never pushed me.

“I wouldn’t want to say anything that makes people angry, but I really like modelling. It’s just so much fun, and my friends all think it’s cool. Nobody has ever been bitchy.”

Not, at least, until the provocative child-woman image of young Morgan — image of young Morgan — for an ad commissioned by a Taiwanese pool manufacturer — sparked a fiery debate about sexploitation of under-age models.

Psychologists and industry spokesmen criticised her parents. The Federal Minister for Children and Youth Affairs waded in with a heartfelt plea, “For goodness sake, let a child be a child, rather than make them grow up too fast with sexually explicit clothing.”

Four years down the track and Morgan’s mum, Virgin Blue flight attendant Amy Dean, hoped the family had put that torrid time behind them.

But with the recent choice of 12-year-old Maddison Gabriel as the face of Gold Coast Fashion Week, the row has reignited…

Tom and Katie’s alien bunker

Protective dad Tom isn’t about to let evil Xenu get his children.

Tom Cruise is reportedly building an $11million luxury underground bunker at his Colorado property, so his family can survive an alien invasion.

Insiders say the star has ordered a reinforced shelter from UK firm Powerhouse, which will be big enough to house 10 people, including his wife Katie Holmes, baby Suri, and his older children Isabella, 14 and Connor, 12.

“Tom is planning to build the facility under his Telluride estate,” a source told US magazine Star. “It’s a self-contained underground shelter with a high-tech air-purifying system.”

Although reps for the actor have denied the reports, as well as claims he’s fearful of UFOs, it’s known his Scientology beliefs include teachings about aliens and an evil intergalactic warlord called Xenu — who is said to have menaced Earth in the past…
