Johansson and Bullock at last year's MTV Movie Awards

Scarlett Johansson reportedly had a face-to-face meeting with her good friend Sandra Bullock at the Golden Globes, the first time the pair have met since rumours began circulating that Bullock is seeing Ryan Reynolds, Johansson’s ex-husband.

In pictures: expensive Hollywood divorces

According to Bullock’s representative, the Oscar winner, 46, met Johansson, 26, at an awards after-party and the pair reportedly discussed heart-throb Reynolds, 34, who was voted the sexiest man in the world by readers of People magazine in 2010.

“Scarlett and Sandra had dinner,” an unnamed source told Life & Style magazine.

“They’ve always gotten along so Sandra explained exactly how she felt about the whole Ryan situation. She didn’t want anything to get in the way of their friendship. There is no awkwardness between Sandra and Scarlett.”

CelebrityFix: Is Ryan Reynolds Sandra Bullock’s lover?

Miranda Kerr confirms baby name and shares a photograph

Miranda Kerr and baby Flynn

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr announced the name of her new baby via her Facebook profile earlier today.

“Thank you for all your lovely comments,” she posted. “We have a beautiful little boy named Flynn.”

Miranda went on to confirm baby Flynn’s date of birth as January 6, 2011 and that he was born after a difficult labour which involved no pain killers but where she had the constant support of her husband, Orlando Bloom.

“I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication. Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it.”

Although Flynn was born in the US, Miranda has made it clear that her baby will spend a lot of time in Australia. She said that despite having US, European and Australian passports, her first born will be “an Aussie through and through”.

Clearly glowing and deeply content as a new mum, Miranda also posted a photograph of her breastfeeding baby Flynn. “We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family,” she wrote. “He is our little ray of sunshine. Love, Miranda xx.”

Help me add colour to my wardrobe

**Dear Fashion Team,

How do I add a bright colour to my wardrobe??**

Imogen, NSW

Answer: Dear Imogen,

Our favourite way to bring in a statement shade is through an accessory.

An easy way to add colour is to choose a bright pair of shoes or a bag and wear them with a neutral-coloured outfit, or even basic black. Neutrals like grey, white, tan or taupe are always in style and they look particularly chic when worn with a pop of colour like a bold cherry red bag.

What ever key accent piece you pick, that should be the only item in your outfit in that exact shade. In other words, do not upstage the splendor of your turquoise pumps by wearing them with a similarly hued skirt – this will look too matchy matchy. If you want to add another statement colour to your look, make it a small piece, like a ring or a scarf.

Remember to be judicious about whatever you add; too much bright will give one a fright!

Accessorize in style.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcome second child

Keith Urban: ‘How Nicole saved me’

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have announced they have welcomed their second child via a surrogate.

The pair welcomed baby Faith Margaret on December 28, 2010, a sister to the couple’s first child, two-year-old Sunday Rose.

“Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret,” the pair said in a statement on Urban’s website.

“No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”

The baby was born in the family’s home town of Nashville, Tennessee, at Centennial Medical Centre, via a surrogate but 43-year-old Nicole and 43-year-old Keith are the biological parents.

The couple kept the birth of their child under wraps and secretly visited their newborn and the surrogate in hospital last week.

The loved-up pair, who walked the Golden Globes red carpet together, have now taken their new born daughter home.

Queensland flood crisis: Sonia Kruger shares her story

Queensland flood crisis: Sonia Kruger shares her story

Sonia Kruger was born in Toowoomba and grew up in Brisbane.

Our house was flooded in 1974, like almost everyone else living in Brisbane. We lived in a two-storey house, so the bottom part was flooded but we were fine living in the top part.

As kids I suppose we didn’t really understand the danger. Dad made us a raft out of 44-gallon drums and bits of wood, and we floated around the neighbourhood checking out everyone’s houses and seeing how the neighbours were going.

For us as children it was kind of a novelty; I don’t think we really grasped the sense of destruction and the costs of rebuilding.

Dad worked in earth-moving, so had all the equipment that was needed in the big clean-up jobs all around the city. Seeing him clear up the food that had gone to waste and bulldoze all the ruined stock out of stores really brought it home how much had been damaged.

But the thing I remember most is the sheer amount of mud. It was a silty mud that got through everything.

Australia’s oldest lovebirds!

Australia's oldest lovebirds!

As John Farquharson and his fiancèe Jean Stewart snuggle up together on the couch, it’s clear there’s nowhere else they’d rather be.

It’s taken John nearly 90 years to meet the woman of his dreams – and he’s not letting her go now.

John, who turns 90 on Valentine’s Day, met Jean, 86, at a singles retirement village in Townsville two years ago. The pair fell in love, moved out into their own one-bedroom love nest and have just got engaged.

“I get tingly just thinking about it,” Jean laughs. “I moved into the nursing home thinking it would be my final resting place, not expecting to find a husband. Romance was the last thing on my mind.”

“She gives me so much pleasure with everything she does,” beams John. “I just wish she’d entered my life 70 years ago.”

Jean chuckles, “We’re like lovestruck teens. We haven’t had one argument.”

The moment John saw Jean in a crowded dance hall, he knew she was the one for him.

Exclusive interview: Meet baby Benjamin Travolta

Exclusive interview: Meet baby Benjamin Travolta

John Travolta and Kelly Preston introduce us to their gorgeous newborn.

As John Travolta and Kelly Preston pose with daughter Ella Bleu and new son Benjamin, it’s clear they are elated to welcome their little bundle of joy, and the love and happiness is palpable. Even Benjamin is smiling as his proud father softly sings “I like to Singa” and “Look at that Face” to him throughout the shoot.

In fact, John sang to him throughout Kelly’s pregnancy too (“mostly Sinatra, Streisand or Bennett!”). Woman’s Day sat down in between songs to share in their joy.

Congratulations, all of you! You’ve called Benjamin a “miracle”. What does this little miracle mean to you and your family?

John: For us, it’s been uplifting. He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose. He’s brought us a new beginning and his presence has brought joy to all the people who have wanted the best for us.

Let’s talk about Benjamin’s birth…

Kelly: I had a C-section at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala [Florida] and our doctor, Dr Marquette, all of our nurses and everyone attending were amazing.

We had a silent birth, with no spoken words as much as possible, that was performed in a calm and caring environment. L. Ron Hubbard discovered the single source of stress, worry, self-doubt and psychosomatic illness, which is the reactive mind. This part of the mind records all words and perceptions in times of pain and unconsciousness and these can have adverse effects on people later in life.
