David Arquette ‘sick’ of talking about Courteney Cox By Kerry Warren

Courteney Cox’s estranged husband David Arquette has vowed to stop talking about their marriage woes.

The 39-year-old actor has given dozens of candid interviews about Courteney, 46, since they separated last October after 11 years of marriage.

He has since revealed intimate details of their relationship and publicly dissected why it fell apart. He now says he has spoken about the split so much it bores even him.

“I’m sick of it myself,” David told Us Weekly. “I think I’m trying to talk about it so much so you guys get sick of it.”

David told the magazine he initially spoke out to correct the lies the media was reporting, but it quickly got out of control.

“All of this started because there are lies out there a lot of the time, and I wanted to be honest and speak my mind,” he said. “Now it’s evolved into so much, but we have a movie that came out yesterday and it’s on people’s minds I guess.”

David and Courteney have been thrust back into the spotlight this week with the release of Scream 4. The couple met on the set of the first film in the horror franchise in 1996 and married three years later. They have one child, six-year-old daughter Coco.

The happiest baby in the world!

The happiest baby in the world!

Little Joseph Henry gave his mum and dad a huge smile…from the womb.

Excitedly watching the ultrasound screen, Louise Henry couldn’t wipe the smile from her face as she waited to catch the first glimpse of her unborn child. At 17 weeks pregnant, she was overjoyed to see her baby’s face, hands and feet for the first time.

But as she and her husband Sam beamed at the blurry image before them, neither one could believe their eyes – their little man was smiling right back at them!

“Your primary concern at that stage is that you have a healthy baby, but to see the foetus smiling was absolutely fantastic,” says Sam happily.

And when their gynaecologist explained he’d never seen such a young baby smile in his entire 40-year career, the proud parents knew they had a very special child on the way.

“It was wonderful to see and we hoped it was a reflection of how safe and secure he felt,” says Sam.

Now, at three-months-old, Joseph is still a little bundle of joy. The gorgeous bub giggles happily at home and his parents have no trouble getting him to turn on the charm for the camera. And while the little chap isn’t too worried about anything more than his next feed and clean nappies, everyone who’s seen the scan has been blown away by his apparently cheerful countenance.

ANZAC tributes

ANZAC tributes

The students at South Coogee Public School wrote these poems to honour our soldiers.

Anzac day is the day that soldiers went to war

Never ever did they give up

Zealous soldiers fighting for their country

All the soldiers did their best to fight the war

Courage they used to fight the war.

Determination they used.

Always they were determined to fight the war

Young soldiers they were separated from their family

With their hair slightly whiter, their step not quite so sure

They march proudly as they did a year before

They’re the ones who showed courage all the way

They’re the ones who made our lives as good as today

From the rugged hillside of Gallipoli to the sand of Almein

To the death of some, those memories will remain

The airmen and sailors who died at bay

Those fighters will be remembered o this day

They fought and fought through jungles and sand

And other mysterious and unbrown lands

Their blood lies in all different trails

Their courage never ever did fail

Fathers, sons, and all who died

While mothers and daughters all but cried

When a bugle call them to cross that great divide

They will wait on the other side

Lest we forget

We remember the people in the Anzac war by closing our eyes for a minute of silence on the 25th of April. My dad is in the army and knows some people who, sadly, died. Soldiers pretended they were 18, when they were only 14, to fight for our country. We also make cookies to celebrate the joy of the war being over.

We also have a parade, and my dad goes in it every year. My family wakes up at 6:00 of the exact time for the minute of silence at Coogee RSL. Last of all, we make black and red poppy flowers.

LEST WE FORGET

ANZAC day is a day of remembrance. To me, it means to thank those who sacrificed their lives for us for our freedom and for us to have Rights.

My dad is in the Army and I am proud because he protects and saves our country.

Karl Stefanovic’s golden moment

Karl Stefanovic's golden moment

From disasters to the royal wedding, it seems there’s nothing Karl Stefanovic won’t cover…but the Gold Logie nominee’s kids just want Dad to stay safe!

Disastrous world events are tough enough for most young kids to fathom, but for 11-year-old Jackson Stefanovic, the horrific floods, cyclone and earthquakes of early 2011 were made all that more scary as he watched his dad, Today show co-host Karl, pack his suitcases and head straight into the middle of the catastrophes.

“When I got back from Japan, Jackson said to me in the car, ‘Daddy, why when there were floods in Queensland did you go to Queensland? When there was a cyclone in Queensland you went there and when there was an earthquake in Japan you went there’,” recalls Karl.

“And I said to him, ‘That’s my job and I do feel a very keen sense of responsibility to tell these people’s stories’. “He said, ‘Well, I want to know that you are going to be safe when you go to those areas’, and I told him we are pretty safe but it’s the people who live over there that I worry about. It’s the first time I’ve every really encountered that with the kids. This time it had hit home.”

With their fears for Dad’s safety allayed, Karl and his wife Cassandra’s kids, Jackson, Ava, 6, and River, 4, can now concentrate on cheering Dad on at the 2011 TV Week Logie Awards. And this year he has the “great honour” of being in the running for Gold for the first time. What makes it even sweeter is the fact that he’s the first journalist in more than 10 years to be listed.

“I honestly never thought I would be nominated for a Logie, let alone a Gold one,” says Karl, clearly chuffed. “It’s strange as well – I’m just pleased that people bothered to go out of their way to vote for me. You know, they took the time. I mean, that’s pretty cool.”

Princess Mary’s pride and joy!

Princess Mary's pride and joy!

The Christening of her twins topped off an emotional and happy Aussie family reunion for Princess Mary.

Meet the very cute Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander, and his dear little sister, Princess Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda. Mathilda appears to be a generous nod from Mary to her Aussie homeland.

The christening ceremony at The Holmen’s Church in Copenhagen is the latest magical chapter in the ongoing real-life fairytale that is Princess Mary.

And judging by the look on a very proud Mary’s face, she was enjoying every second. She good-naturedly shrugged off tabloid reports of Prince Frederik’s alleged drunken antics in a Copenhagen nightclub, where he was pictured hugging a “mystery blonde” last week. It later emerged the woman was Jeppe Handwerk, a close friend of Mary and Fred.

Just as she did with the christenings of her first two children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, Mary managed to combine the pomp and rich splendour of Danish royal history with the laid-back, understated feel of an Aussie family gathering.

Taking pride of place at the baptismal font was Mary’s beloved big brother, John Donaldson, 40, who has been given the honour of becoming a godfather to Prince Vincent, while Mary’s sister, Patricia Bailey, 43, is one of little Princess Josephine’s godmothers.

Kate Middleton’s pre-wedding schedule revealed

Kate Middleton's pre-wedding schedule revealed

Kate Middleton shares her pre-wedding schedule for her final 24 hours as a commoner.

On her last official engagement before tying the knot with her prince, Kate Middleton admitted to a few pre-wedding jitters.

“I can’t believe it’s going to be very soon now,” she confessed to the crowds who’d gathered to watch Prince William, 28, and his bride-to-be open a community centre in Lancashire. Asked whether she was nervous, a slimline Kate – who has trimmed down so much in the past few weeks she’s had to have her sapphire engagement ring re-sized – replied, “Yes, of course I am.”

And with about two billion pairs of eyes expected to be watching her every move, no-one could blame Kate for breaking that perfect poise as she prepares to walk down the aisle on April 29. Here, we take a look at the 24 hours leading up to the wedding and what Kate’s final hours as a single woman will be like on the biggest day of her life.

21 hours to go

2pm – Pampering – The last-minute arrangements will be especially stressful, so it’s essential the royal bride is as relaxed as possible. Kate will have a manicure, pedicure and full-on pamper session at celebrity hairdresser Richard Ward’s luxury salon in Knightsbridge.

19 hours to go

4pm – Preparing her hair – Hairdressers demand that for the half-up, half-down ’do Kate is predicted to opt for, her hair must not be freshly washed. She’ll need to rinse her famed chestnut locks the afternoon before her nuptials, so up-and-coming hair stylist James Pryce can style her hair easily in the morning.

17 hours to go

6pm – The final rehearsal – Although the wedding will have been rehearsed for weeks by all taking part, Kate and William will go through the order of service the night before with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, who will marry them.

See the full 24 hour schedule in this week’s Woman’s Day, on sale April 18.

I’m Kate Middleton…and so is my daughter!

I'm Kate Middleton...and so is my daughter!

As William’s bride-to-be prepares for her wedding, her Aussie namesakes are also enjoying fame.

Breakfast in bed, scones for afternoon tea and a curtsey every time she enters the room. Yes, Kate Middleton has never had it so good. But this isn’t Prince William’s Kate. It’s her Sydney schoolteacher namesake, who’s had a right-royal pampering since William proposed to his sweetheart in November.

“I’m getting a real taste of royal life… and I love it!” quips Kate, 39, who, like Prince William’s fiancée, is actually named Catherine. “And I’m not even queen yet!”

Life has become a lot more exciting for the mum-of-three – and her five-year-old daughter, who is also called Kate – since the royal engagement was announced. “I’m used to getting up in the morning to make breakfast, but now my husband surprises me with eggs and bacon in bed!” laughs Kate, a PE and dance teacher.

“I also get newfound respect from some other teachers, who have taken to bowing as I enter the staff room and referring to me as ‘Ma’am’. Only a few months back no-one made the connection but they do now. Making it even more special is that my maiden name was Smith – there’s nothing more common than that!”

As big and little Kate happily tuck into cucumber sandwiches, scones and delicate strawberry cakes at high tea, they look like true princesses-in-waiting. “My daughter’s popularity at school has suddenly increased, and like a true princess she can be demanding and changes her clothes two or three times a day!” reports her mum. “She’s also bossing around her older brothers, Nicholas [9] and Daniel [7].”

Harry and Chelsy set a date

The palace prepares a royal wedding feast!

The two are making wedding plans, but Harry doesn’t want to steal the limelight from his brother just now.

Come April 29, when William and Kate are declared husband and wife, Prince Harry will officially become the most eligible royal bachelor in the world. But there’s still only one girl on the 26-year-old prince’s mind.

After seven tumultuous years and a recent eight-month separation, Harry’s romance with his on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 25, is back on track and more passionate than ever.

“Now that they’ve spent some time apart, Harry is convinced that she’s the one,” a source close to the couple tells Woman’s Day. Not wanting to steal the limelight from William, Harry is keeping his plans quiet for now, but the insider says he and Chelsy “have made a secret pact that they’ll marry in two years”.

Trainee lawyer Chelsy quit Britain for her native South Africa last June, tired of sharing Harry with his military duties.

“She understood it was important to him, but it still made her angry that he was away,” says a friend of Harry. “The relationship cooled off, but they stayed in touch.”
