All the celebrity contestants who have been eliminated from The Amazing Race 2024

Another bites the dust!

Another year means another bunch of bright-eyed celebrities taking on one of the biggest travelling challenges to raise funds for charity – The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition.

Their optimism will be put to the test as they sweat, fight and cry to make it across the finish line in the hopes of winning the 2024 season. But in order to determine the official winner, ten of the eleven celebrity teams must be eliminated.

(Credit: Ten)

Returning to host The Amazing Race Australia is former professional footballer, Beau Ryan who will support the contestants throughout their turbulent journey. Not only will the teams earn bragging rights as the winner, but also $100,000 to their chosen charity.

Here are all the celebrity contestants and their loved-ones who have left the 2024 season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition. Continue scrolling to read.

Jett Kenny & Lily Brown

Couple

Jett and Lily were eliminated in the fourth leg of the race in South Africa. Despite the disappointing result, Lily was grateful for the friendships and experienced earned along the way.

“We made some of the most amazing friendships and experienced places and things we never would have otherwise… I have always said to Jett that I’d love for us to travel together as much as possible before we decide to settle down and start our own family together, so this was a no-brainer when the opportunity presented itself,” she told Ten following the elimination.

“Overall it was a pretty crazy experience. Obviously, not being able to plan or practice for anything threw a spanner in the works with the whole dynamic… I love to race, and this was a different way of doing it,” Jett added.

Cyrell Paule & Eden Dally

Couple

Despite being the third teammates to be eliminated from The Amazing Race 2024, ‘Cyclone’ Cyrell and partner Eden gave every challenge their best, all in the hopes of winning the cash prize on behalf of Bravehearts. The organisation is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse, a charity that Eden admitted is very close to his heart given.

“We really wanted it bad,” Eden said of the $100,000 prize. “We really wanted to raise awareness because in my line of work, you hear these stories way too often… unfortunately we just kept coming second last and last, we were gutted.”

“We were devastated,” Cyrell added before acknowledging their amazing effort, “that’s the one thing that Eden and I can be proud of – we didn’t give up in any way. We went out fighting.”

Natalie & Melinda Bassingthwaighte

Sisters

Unfortunately for sisters Natalie and Melinda, they were eliminated in the second leg of The Amazing Race Australia.

In the lead up to their elimination, the television personality confessed to TV WEEK it wasn’t a big surprise after heading an hour in the wrong direction. Despite the whirlwind of emotions the sisters faced as they carried 19kgs, they remain incredibly “grateful” for the opportunity.

“You’re up at five or six in the morning and you’re full steam ahead. Your adrenaline is so high, everything is pumping. You don’t really eat much during the day because you’re just too excited. There’s just so many emotions, it’s the wildest ride ever,” Nat revealed.

To which Mel added: “I’ve got no words to describe how much more confident and how proud I am of myself and the other teams. It really was an incredible opportunity.”

Luke & Julie McGregor

Son & Mother

Comedian Luke McGregor and his mother Julie were sadly the first team to be eliminated on The Amazing Race Australia this year.

Following his elimination, Luke spoke to TV WEEK about his experience working side-by-side with his mum on the show.

“We were good. Sleeping in the same room was a bit awkward because I’ve got sleep apnea and Mum snores so there was a lot of noises happening. But yeah, it wasn’t too bad. There was no falling out.

“Other than the dancing, Christmas won’t be too awkward,” he shared.

Irene is back! After a hiatus, Lynne McGranger makes a grand return to Home and Away

Sing, dance, act - what can't she do?
Loading the player...

Home and Away beloved star Lynne McGranger has returned to Summer Bay after temporarily leaving to return to her roots in the original stage comedy, The Grandparents Club

From May 10, Lynne went on tour for ten weeks to perform. But in mid-September, the actress shared a post to Instagram revealing her grand return.

(Image: Instagram) (Credit: (Image: Instagram))

“So happy to be back with these lunatics!!,” she captioned the photo of her with Home and Away co-stars Ada Nicodemou and Shane Withington.

While the 71-year-old has built a legacy on Home and Away as Irene after making her first appearance in 1993 – making her the longest-serving female on the soap – her roots are actually in theatre.

“I came from revue-type situations (shows) — from community theatre, all of that — I’m getting back to my roots, singing and dancing, interacting with the audience,” she said.

“I can hold a tune and I can belt-out a number, but I’m no Aretha Franklin.”

Prior to this, Lynne did appear in the Australian version of Legally Blonde the Musical in 2018.

(Image: Instagram) (Credit: (Image: Instagram))

At the time, Lynne showed praise to everyone involved in The Grandparents Club stage musical, particularly writer Wendy Harmer who she’s known since the 1980s and describes as “fabulous” and “should be the queen of Australia.”

She continued to describe the Australian musical created to celebrate grandparents in all their beautiful forms.

“It’s review style, its four people – myself included – four us turn up to the club for the day and we have a day in the club,” she said.

“The audience has come to the club called The Grandparents Club — there is a sauna, gym, spa, there’s bingo, there is trivia. In a way, just taking the mickey out of what people perceive grandparents to be,” she said.

“Which is, of course, old and doddery… but in fact, grandparents can be in their 40s these days, bungee jumping or climbing Everest.”

Benedict’s love story is coming to life in Bridgerton season four, but what do we know?

Here are all the spoilers for his storyline.
Loading the player...

In the three seasons Benedict Bridgerton has featured on the hit Netflix series, he has stolen the hearts of countless fans with hilarious side comments, mischievous eyes and his art-obsessed soul.

But now, the second Bridgerton brother will have his season in the spotlight.

(Credit: Netflix)

Benedict has been confirmed as the romantic lead for Bridgerton season four – meaning he will undergo a beauty transformation much like the previous leading men, Colin and Anthony did.

Naturally, fans have become curious as to the full storyline of Benedict Bridgerton – luckily, so are we.

Given the Bridgerton series was originally a book series, it is easy to tell how Benedict’s storyline will end. However, the brilliant minds behind the Netflix adaptation has altered a few aspects to keep fans on their toes.

We’ve done all the sleuthing to find all the Benedict Bridgerton storyline spoilers so you don’t have too. Continue reading for all the details.

Who does Benedict Bridgerton marry?

Fans immediately clued into the fact that Benedict would be the new leading man following the season three finale, with Netflix confirming it soon after.

Now, the second-eldest brother will undergo a romantic journey with the “Lady in Silver” as he referred to her in the novels. This lady is none other than Sophie Baek – who was originally Sophie Beckett but was changed in the TV adaptation out of respect for the actress’s culture.

Sophie and Benedict meet at a masquerade party, hosted by the Bridgertons. They form an instant connection which is shattered when she disappears.

Benedict, so infatuated by the stranger, vows to find and marry her. They don’t meet for another two years when Sophie is hired as a maid, but Benedict is clueless to the fact that this is the woman he has been searching for.

Their connection rekindles and Benedict asks her to be his mistress. Eventually, Benedict figures out the truth and the happy couple go on to marry and have four children together: Charles, Alexander, William and Violet.

(Credit: Netflix)

Who plays Sophie?

Portraying Benedict’s love interest is Australian actress Yerin Ha, best known for her roles in Halo, Bad Behaviour and soon-to-be Dune: Prophecy.

Given Yerin’s Korean heritage, showrunner Jess Brownell worked with the actress to create a new last name for Sophie.

“A name is the first bit of identity that you share with the world, and that’s why changing a name can be so powerful,” Yerin told Tudum. “To make Sophie’s name fit someone who looks like me is really empowering.”

When does Bridgerton season four release?

Unfortunately, Netflix has not revealed the premiere date for Bridgerton’s fourth season. However, production is well underway.

If the third season is any indication, fans should expect the new season to release in roughly two years.

Inside the life of James Middleton: Dog lover, mental health advocate and family man

He's also a new author!
Getty

While James Middleton is best known as Princess Catherine’s younger brother, his story goes far beyond his royal connections.

From entrepreneurship and mental health advocacy to his deep love for animals – especially dogs – and his family, James, 37, has carved out his own path.

Here we take a look at the man behind the glamorous veneer of society engagements and entrepreneurial achievements. Let’s dive in.

James’ new memoir is out September 24. (Image: Instagram)

WHAT DOES JAMES MIDDLETON DO NOW?

Most recently, the youngest Middleton has penned his first memoir – Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life

Releasing 24 September 2024, the book is described as “touching, honest and life-affirming” and serves as a “love letter to man’s best friend and a beacon of hope to anyone struggling through hard times.”

The book explores the unbreakable bond and healing potential of the human-animal connection as experienced by James.

And it also divulges fun family secrets like how he knew Prince William was ‘the one’ for his sister Kate Middleton.

HOW JAMES MIDDLETON KNEW PRINCE WILLIAM WAS ‘THE ONE’ FOR HIS SISTER

The newly slated author shared an excerpt of his upcoming memoir, detailing that he knew the Prince was “just right” for his sister when he saw how William reacted to meeting his puppy Ella.

“I have not told him or Catherine about Ella,” he wrote.

“They know I am getting a puppy, but they don’t realise her arrival is imminent.

“So I let Ella announce herself; place her on the doorstep and allow her to make her entrance. She bounds into the kitchen to introduce herself to Catherine and William.”

Prince William passed the Ella test! (Image: Getty)

And William, reportedly, smiled when he met her, and told James that he could tell he had something to share as he sounded “a bit sheepish about something” when he phoned.

James goes on to write that he had to put the Prince through his paces when they first met. “Did he deserve my sister? He had to earn my trust.”

He also admitted that it helped greatly that William loved Ella and was completely “smitten” by her.

It turns out Prince William had a black lab called Widgeon growing up who had, sadly, passed away. James believes “William was pining for a dog when Ella was around.”

Upon hearing the news that William and Catherine were going to get married, James wrote: ”William has been in our lives for so long and we’ve grown very fond of him. He feels like our older brother and he and Catherine are so clearly a good fit, just right for each other.

“As we digest the news, I know I haven’t yet experienced the love they feel for each other myself. But I’m hoping one day I will.”

Which leads beautifully into the next question…

DID JAMES MIDDLETON HAVE A BABY?

James and his wife Alizee welcomed their little boy into the world in 2023. (Image: Instagram)

In September 2021, James married financial analyst and, importantly, dog lover Alizee Thevenet in France.

The two had begun dating in 2018 – seven years after William and Catherine wed – and were engaged just 10 months after meeting.

The lovebirds welcomed their first child, a boy named Inigo Middleton, in fall 2023. James shared the happy news to his Instagram account alongside a few sweet snaps of his newborn.

He wrote: “He has been in our lives for just a few weeks but they have been the most special of my life getting to know our beautiful baby boy,” James wrote. “No matter how prepared I thought I was…I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time and the love for my darling Alizée as we became three.

“We would like to thank the wonderful team at Basingstoke hospital, from the very first scan to walking out the front door for the first time as three, we couldn’t have felt more supported and looked after throughout so thank you NHS.”

The couple got married in France. (Image: Instagram)

JAMES MIDDLETON MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES

While James comes from a family that keeps much of their private lives under wraps, he has been vocal about his struggles with mental health.

He publicly shared his experience with depression in 2019, writing a deeply personal essay in The Daily Mail about how he struggled to get out of bed and felt disconnected from the world.

James, who has shared that he has dyslexia and ADD (attention deficit disorder), has further opened up about his struggles in his new memoir.

His heartbreaking admission details one of the darkest periods of his life when he considered “jumping from the rooftop” of a London building.

Unfortunately, these types of thoughts were not foreign to James. He recalled numerous times when he would “contemplate ways of dying”. However, the night he thought of jumping in 2017, James found himself “utterly exhausted”.

They have so many fur babies! (Image: Instagram)

“I feel misunderstood; a complete failure,” he wrote.

“I wouldn’t wish the sense of worthlessness and desperation, the isolation and loneliness, on my worst enemy. I think I’m going crazy.

“Yet I know I am privileged; fortunate, too, to have a loving and close-knit family – Mum and Dad, my sisters, Catherine and Pippa, their husbands, William and James – but I push them all away.

“I do not answer their phone calls. Emails remain ignored. Invitations to visit go unheeded.

“I hide behind a double-locked door, unreachable.”

Thinking back to being on the roof of a London building with only his beloved dog Ella, James wrote: “I wonder, if I jump, could it possibly be construed as a tragic accident?

“That way my family, although they would grieve desperately, would be spared the added torture of knowing that I had ended my life by suicide.”

ELLA SAVED HIS LIFE

James has been open about how Ella saved his life. (Image: Instagram)

But looking at his dog Ella, sparked a new, more hopeful fate – one that, ultimately, saved his life.

“I glance down the ladder again. Ella has not moved. Her brown eyes are still staring intently at me, soulful and pleading, and as my gaze locks on hers again, my brain quietens.

“In that instant I know I will not jump. What would happen to Ella if I died? How long would she wait alone in the flat for someone to find her?

“I haul myself back from the brink, slowly climb down the ladder and stroke Ella’s silky head.

“She is the reason I do not take that fatal leap. She is Ella, the dog who saved my life.”

Ella passed away in January 2023 at age 15. James shared that sad news on his Instagram, alongside a black-and-white image of her, writing: “It is with great sadness that I announce my dear Ella has passed away

“For 15 years Ella has been at my side, from my darkest days to my happiest. I’m going to miss her terribly

“Ella had a very short illness, she slipped away in my arms at home and is now buried in the garden alongside Tilly. I took this picture just a few hours before she died

“I’m just about holding it together to write this, and despite the fact I knew this day was coming, it doesn’t make it any easier

“Goodnight my darling Ella, Alizee and the dogs will take good care of me”.

JAMES MIDDLETON THE ENTREPRENEUR

James is a serial entrepreneur and puppy gifter! (Image: Instagram)

More than a famous dog lover, James is quite the entrepreneur. After working for his family’s party-planning business, he decided to go out on his own.

James launched the “Cake Kit Company”, selling kits that made quick work of creating themed cakes. However, the company dissolved in 2015.

His drive didn’t end there. Instead, he launched Boomf, a company that personalises marshmallows and greeting cards with photos. James sold the company in 2022.

In 2020, the serial entrepreneur started Ella & Co – a dog-food order company. Sweetly, James renamed the business to James & Ella after his beloved pup passed away. He shared the news on social media, writing, “James & Ella: a new chapter 📖,” he wrote on Instagram

“Well, since Ella passed away at the beginning of the year, I’ve spent a long time reflecting on how much she transformed my life. It was a start of a new chapter without her, but I wanted to recognise the incredible bond we had, and to signify the symbiotic relationship between humans and dogs.

“Through James & Ella, I’ll be carrying on the legacy of the most incredible dog I ever had the pleasure of caring for, as she cared for me, with lots of exciting news to share later this year…”

In mid-September, Channel Ten and Paramount+ collectively announced an abundance of TV shows for the new year that had viewers in a tizzy, including Big Brother, The Cheap Seats, Ghosts Australia, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia, Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn II and many more.

Among the announcements was that Sam Pang would be creating and starring in his very own show, airing weekly.

Unfortunately, the comedian and network have revealed little details about the segment, however, it’s safe to presume Sam will bring all the laughs.

Speaking on Sam’s new program was SVP Content and Programming for Paramount Australia, Daniel Monaghan.

“Sam Pang has been part of the 10 family for over a decade and we’re delighted to have commissioned his brand-new show for 2025,” he said.

“Sam’s quick wit has kept Aussies laughing for years, and we know his fresh new program will give audiences exactly what they want.

“We are currently in the final stages of development, and we can’t wait to share it with viewers in the new year.”

In June 2024, a source informed New Idea that the show would follow a “late-night-style chat show” program.

“Think Graham Norton meets Rove Live,” a source told the publication.

Ten did reveal these new duties will not impact Sam’s pre-existing gig as a panellist on the Logie-winning Have You Been Paying Attention? with host Tom Gleisner and Ed Kavalee also returning.

The other shows that have been confirmed are MasterChef Australia: Back To Win, Taskmaster Australia, Thank God You’re Here, Gogglebox Australia, Neighbours, and NCIS: Sydney.

The couple married at the beginning of 2015 and welcomed baby River in 2018.

Hayley Love

Season Eleven – 2021

Thus far, the show had been a wholesome affair, but in 2021 it saw its first MAFS-worthy scandal. Hayley was one of Farmer Matt Terwin’s girls before she was sent home and began a relationship with Farmer Will Dwyer. Fans were shocked when Hayley later announced she was 22 weeks pregnant with Will’s child.

In a statement to News.com.au, she clarified, “I started my relationship with Farmer Will in December before the reunion episode was filmed a few weeks later in January. He told me he wasn’t with Jaimee, and Jaimee was in contact with me before the reunion.”

Soon after her genuinely shocking reveal, Farmer Will responded to the claims with a statement speculating if the baby was his by sharing on Instagram, “If this is in fact my child, I’ll be there whenever the child needs me. Even if, as parents, we can’t be a couple, our family will be filled with love for our child.” On December 7 at 10:03 pm, the blonde beauty gave birth to a sweet girl named Daisy.

Jess Nathan & Andrew Guthrie

Season Eleven – 2021

Over the course of season 11, Jess and Andrew declared their love for each other in the finale.

In November 2021, Jess announced the pair were finally moving in together after doing long distance for 11 months.

“After exactly 11 months of long distance and a million lockdowns later, today has finally arrived. So excited to start this next chapter with my love, starting with a big ol’ house reno on our brand spankin new property! (Well, new to us),” she wrote on Instagram.

In August 2023, the pair took to Instagram to share the news of their engagement.

Farmer Wants A Wife,” they captioned the adorable picture.

Harry Lloyd & Tess Brookman

Season Twelve – 2022

Farmer Harry and Tess overcame many obstacles during their season but ultimately fell head over heels for one another.

”If I’m honest, Tess, I’m in love with you, and I wanna be with you,” Harry told Tess in the finale.

Due to the long distance, Harry has since relocated from his country home to the Gold Coast for a ”cheeky gap year.”

”For him to make that decision and commit to it has been huge,” Tess said.

”I do really love him for being so willing to move for me. I know that Harry’s making compromises for me right now, so I’m more than willing to do that in the future, because I do really love him.”

Will Simpson & Jess Cova

Season Twelve – 2022

After declaring his love for Jess in the finale episode, Farmer Will revealed during the final that he and Jess ”haven’t spent a day apart.”

”Since the final decision, we’ve really ran with it,” he said, revealing that Jess moved to the farm in Berriwillock, Victoria and ”hasn’t left yet.”

”I think our relationship is just blossoming as each day goes by,” Jess said.

The former city girl has even joined the local netball team, taken up a nursing job and a bar job at the local pub, in addition to her studies and is loving country life.

In January 2023, the couple even adopted a dachshund puppy they called Clyde into their family.

Brad Jones & Clare Hockings

Season Thirteen – 2023

Two months after declaring their love in the 2023 season finale, the pair moved in together on Brad’s crop and cattle farm. In July, the couple announced they were expecting their first baby together with the little bub arriving in December.

“We didn’t think it would happen as quick as it did,” Brad told our sister site, New Idea. “We’re on the same page and just happy doing life together.”

Their babies name is Roy Grahame Jones.

David McMahon & Emily

Season Thirteen – 2023

Sparks began to fly early for these love-birds, with David immediately falling for her “funny” and “bubbly energy.” Not long after the finale, Emily relocated to Pozieres to live on the farm.

In October, the pair took to Instagram to share the exciting news that David dropped to one knee and asked the very special question.

“Incredibly proud to announce, this Farmer has found his Wife,” he wrote.

The most outrageous cast to date.
Loading the player...

While it feels like Married At First Sight 2024 just wrapped up, the 2025 season is well under way. And it’s shaping up to be the juiciest season yet!

As far as contestants go, reports have already come out, saying that the cast has been locked in. And the contestants are starting to be leaked…

Here’s all the cast gossip the rumour mill is churning up so far.

MAFS 2025 CAST

01

EXPERT MEL SCHILLING

MAFS expert Mel Schilling, 52, was noticeably absent when cameras started rolling for the MAFS 2025 season earlier this month. This left everyone speculating about why she was nowhere to be seen.

Was she stepping down to focus on her health? After all, the star recently opened up about her battle with colon cancer.

According to Daily Mail, there’s no need for concern – Mel is indeed confirmed to return to the 2025 season of MAFS.

She’s currently in the United Kingdom where she is finishing filming the latest UK version of the show. And last week, she reportedly underwent her final chemotherapy treatment.

Daily Mail reported that while Mel wasn’t present to welcome next year’s brides during the hen’s party alongside Alessandra, she has been actively involved in the matchmaking process.

02

SIERA SWEPSTONE

According to Daily Mail, 31-year-old former The Bachelor contestant Sierah Swepstone has been cast in the upcoming twelfth season of MAFS. She was spotted filming the popular Channel Nine series mid-July.

Sierah finished 11th on The Bachelor in 2021 for Jimmy Nicholson’s season before being sent home in episode eight. Clearly they weren’t a love match because when Jimmy sent her home, she speculated that the bachelor simply wasn’t into “tall, horny bogans” like herself.

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle, Jimmy said he’s excited to watch Sierah on MAFS. “There is more than meets the eye to Sierah,” he said, admitting that viewers didn’t get to see the full picture of the technical analyst from Victoria.

“She’s also hilarious and will make for some great viewing. I wish her all the best with it.”

03

RHI DISLJENKOVIC

Reports by Daily Mail also suggest that Rhi Disljenkovic, a beautiful brunette fitness blogger and IT account manager from Melbourne, will also grace our screens for Season 12 of MAFS

The publication also revealed that friends describe ‘Rhi Rhi’ as a “gorgeous, fun doll” who’s always up for a good time. However, she does “wear her heart on her sleeve. She is absolutely stunning inside and out,” her friend said.

Rhi has been spotted filming what seems to be her backstory in Melbourne. The MAFS application website details that filming kicks off in late July, so the timeline fits!

04

PAUL ANTOINE

Could it be that Paul Antoine, former The Real Love Boat Australia 2022 contestant, will be one of the 10 grooms tying the knot on MAFS? Daily Mail seems to think so!

The French fitness coach is from Perth. And when he did his promo for The Real Love Boat, he was sold as being “clean, organised and a fantastic cook” – sign us up!

“I offer stability, respect, sensitivity and independence,” he shared. “The perfect date would be the date that makes me forget that I’m in one.

“Long chats about our lives – past, present and future. I like it when things are spontaneous and haven’t been planned ahead too much.”

05

LAUREN HALL

Lauren Hall, a businesswoman from Brisbane, is reportedly confirmed to be in the upcoming series. According to Daily Mail, friends describe “the bubbly brunette” as ‘super fun and entertaining’ and say that she is ‘really good at what she does’.

While she’s new to the show, Lauren does have a cheeky connection to it. In a fun twist of events, she dated Jonathan “Jono” McCullough, who was paired with Lauren Dunn on last year’s season of MAFS.

But, they broke up in January 2023 after dating for about three months. It seems they’re still on good terms though.

06

ELIOT DONOVAN

Brisbane’s Eliot Donovan found his “niche” on the hit show as the “hot groom”. After his photo was leaked, fans were quick to comment on his good looks.

Old social media interactions have linked him to The Bachelor’s Kiki Morris and Beauty and The Geek’s Troy Thompson.

As for what the rumour mill is churning out, Eliot is apparently the first participant to quit the show. He was, reportedly, “unimpressed” with his bride Lauren Hall. Ouch.

07

KATIE JOHNSON

Katie Johnson is a powerhouse businesswoman from Queensland. She runs hew own social enterprise restaurant EATS HQ, which makes it a tangible difference in the lives of people who need it most by serving up ‘meals that matter’. EATS helps people get back on their feet via job opportunities or donations.

She’s described as: “Outrageously successful. Unapologetically authentic. Overwhelmingly generous.”

On MAFS, rumour has it she was seen arriving without a husband. Apparently, producers secretly led her into a building through the back entrance to avoid being photographed.

08

MORENA FARINA

Bride Morena Farina, a Melbourne mother-of-two and DJ, was spotted sitting on a bench outside of the One Global Resorts building in Sydney’s Green Square – surrounded by suitcases.

Apparently, she was even completely ignored by her co-stars and the show’s producers as they passed by her.

And there were no camera crews around, filming her exit, either. A long-time MAFS paparazzi photographer has a theory about the “very strange” incident.

“Usually when a couple or cast member leaves the show they have to film a whole exit sequence in the underground car park and leave in private,” they told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“They do this to avoid anyone taking any spoiler pictures of them leaving with their suitcases, as these pictures prove the couples split up – but this was so weird.

“It’s like she was just kicked off the show, evicted from the building and no one wanted anything to do with her anymore. Producers didn’t even order her a car to take her to the airport or try to hide her from us [the press].”

09

BILLY BELCHER

Billy Belcher is a UK native with a “big personality”. MAFS 2025 will certainly benefit from a dose of his English sense of humour!

10

TEEJAY HALKIAS

Big Brother Australia star Teejay Halkias – the guy who starred on Channel Seven’s reboot of the show in 2022 for Season 15 – has been cast on MAFS as an intruder.

Recent reports share that he was spotted filming his wedding in Sydney’s CBD.

It’s also said that he’s not the only intruder. Apparently, this season sees a record number of them because, rumour has it, six contestants quit in the first two weeks of production, despite producers “doing everything they could” to convince them to stay.

11

JEFF GOBBELS

Apparently, there’s already been some drama on set of MAFS for the 2025 season. According to Yahoo Lifestyle, MAFS made one of its biggest ever mess ups.

The twelfth season saw two exes ‘accidentally’ matched by the experts. And apparently nobody realised the error until the couple met down the aisle while filming their TV wedding!

Yahoo Lifestyle reports that former Neighbours actor Jeff Gobbels and Rhi were shocked when they were unexpectedly reunited on the set earlier this month.

Rumour has it the pair started seeing each other this time last year after being introduced by a mutual friend. However, it “never become official”.

MAFS 2025: THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS CAST TO DATE

According to Daily Mail, an insider connected to MAFS let it slip that the series will feature the most outrageous cast to date. “MAFS will continue to capture the nation’s attention, making it a cultural phenomenon unlike any other,” the source shared.

If this year’s updated application is any indication, they’re not kidding. Wanna-be contestants have to describe ‘in detail’ any cosmetic procedures they’ve previously undergone. The application also asks if they’d be interested in a same-sex relationship.

The rumour mill’s final gossip reveals that fans can expect “a glamourous blonde who will give Lauren Dunn a run for her money and another tattooed alpha type who is tipped to be the season’s villain.” Oh the drama!
