They'll be hitting Netflix soon.

It has been revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have two new Netflix projects in the works.

Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle’s, 42, company Archewell Productions have created two non-fiction television shows that have just wrapped production – and we’ve just been given our first look.

One of the series has been created by Meghan Markle, with her also acting as an executive producer, will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship.”

From royalty to recipes, Meghan Markle will soon be returning to our screens with a new cooking show. The series, is reportedly part of the eye-watering nearly AU$150 million Netflix deal she and Harry signed after they exited Royal life.

It is no secret the Duchess of Sussexes passions lay in the kitchen with her former personal blog, The Tig, well documenting her love of food.

The Duchess of Sussex also has a new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which focuses on food and food-related products including preserved spreads, kitchenware and cookbooks.

While the show’s title has yet to be released, according to The Daily Beast, “all went well” on the project and “it is in the can.”

Meghan herself has kept her lips sealed on the project. But we can’t help but wonder if Harry, Archie and Lilibet will make an appearance. The couple’s children were seen in their Harry & Meghan docuseries, so it’s a definite possibility.

And as a ‘celebration of friendship’, it’s likely we’ll see some star-studded guest appearances across the series. On Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, she spoke with celebs like Serena Williams and Mariah Carey. And her inner circle reportedly includes friends like Amal Clooney and Chrissy Teigen.

Meanwhile, the other series the Sussexes have in the works in one Prince Harry is particularly interested in.

This series aims to “provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo,” a sport that Harry has played for decades.

The Duke often participates in charity polo matches, including a fundraiser for a charity he co-founded in 2006, Sentebale, aimed at helping children and young people affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/AIDS in Africa.

According to a statement, “known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”

Both Harry and Meghan are serving as producers on the series which was filmed primarily at the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Florida, which took place in April 2024.

In September 2024, Netflix released the first look at this series, which will be titled POLO. It was also revealed that the show will premiere in December this year.

Titles and release dates have not yet been confirmed for either show, but it is expected that the news will be revealed in the coming months.

The Chief Content Officer of Netflix spoke at the Next on Netflix event in February and confirmed that Meghan and Harry had several projects in development.

“They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon [Reigg],” they said, according to HELLO! magazine.

“And they actually have like a bunch of development. They have a movie in development, a [scripted] series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multiyear deal with Netflix following their departure from the United Kingdom and their royal duties in 2020, and thus far they have released their intimate docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Live to Lead series and the Heart of Invictus docuseries on the streaming platform.

It was also confirmed in August 2023 that their production company Archewell Productions would be adapting Meet Me at the Lake, a romance novel by Carley Fortune, into a film.

The Masked Singer host and judges share insight to the shows rumoured cancellation

We hope not!
Loading the player...

Despite its popularity, Channel Ten’s The Masked Singer Australia reportedly won’t be returning to screens in 2024.

The disappointing speculation was first shared on May 7, with the singing competition judge Dave Hughes sharing some insight.

“As far as I know, The Masked Singer won’t be filmed this year for Channel 10,” he said on his 2DayFM radio show. “We’ve had such a great time over those years, it’s been such a fun show to be on, so many great singers have been on… It’s a tough one for the production team.”

However, Dave did reveal he was “waiting on a production schedule” which currently has “not come through.”

In September, its host Osher Gunsberg added fire to the rumours.

“If it’s [The Masked Singer] coming back, I don’t know about it – but no, I don’t believe it is coming back,” Osher said in a recent episode of his podcast, Better Than Yesterday.

Despite the admission from both judge and host, the network has neither confirmed or denied the rumours of The Masked Singer’s cancellation.

Therefore, last-minute arranges by Channel Ten could be made in order to save the singing contest.

The Masked Singer has seen the likes of Jacki O, Danni Minogue, Dami Im and so many more. Not to mention the judging panel including Abbie Chatfield, Chrissy Swan, Mel B and Dave Hughes.

Despite Dave’s confession regarding the shows future, he has hopes it will return in 2024.

“I think it will come back, I don’t know when, but I’d say that for the Channel 10 budget this year – doesn’t have enough money for it,” he said.

“Apparently it’s an expensive show to produce.”

Meanwhile, judge Chrissy said a cryptic statement regarding the shows future while on Nova radio: “it was a beautiful time and we loved it, but no.”

From on-screen longing looks to real life love: Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor’s family in pictures

They have one of the most epic love stories.
Loading the player...

Despite both starring on Australian soaps Home and Away and Neighbours and even despite both being Australian, Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor didn’t cross paths until they were cast in sci-fi drama The 100 in 2011.

Fans of The 100 watched the show and begged for their characters Bellamy and Clarke to fall in love as the look in their eyes and the way they held each other was unlike any other love story. But little did we know, the seeds of their real life love story were merely trickling through the characters. However, if you’re not familiar with The 100, it is available for streaming in Australia on Apple TV+ for the curious readers.

Over the years, the pair kept their relationship very private. Even their wedding ceremony which took place in Hawaii on May 5 2019, was kept extremely hush-hush until Eliza’s shock announcement.

“Recently I married my best friend and soulmate @WildpipM,” Eliza wrote on Twitter.

“We are very happy and ask that you keep your comments kind and respect our privacy at this time.”

Bob commented on the post, writing: “This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy. Please remember to be respectful and kind to one another.”

In March 2022, their duo expanded with the arrival of their first child together, a boy called Henry. However, getting to a joyous day as “Mama” and “Papa” bear was not easy after Eliza suffered a miscarriage year prior.

In tribute to their loss, Bob added some permanent ink to his arm – a father penguin and his chick.

“I got this tattoo at a turning point in my life, things don’t always work out as planned, but the lessons learnt have made me a better human,” he wrote on Instagram.

Given their very public life as actors, Eliza and Bob have kept their son’s face out of the media. Often posting photos of the little bub from behind or casually hiding his face from the camera.

But one thing we do know about the now one-year-old is he loves Australia, or at least Bob loves showing him wildlife Down Under.

“The cockatoos, the galahs, the kookaburras… It’s quite awesome, especially when you’ve got a little kid and they’re just like, ‘Wow, look at that!'” Bob told TV WEEK.

“Having a child and coming back to where you grew up, you realise there are some quite magical things.”

In the states, families across the nation celebrated Father’s Day in June including our beloved Aussie couple Bob and Eliza who tributed her “stud” of a husband.

In May, the happy couple took a night off their parenting duties for a night in “Philly.”

For their wedding anniversary in 2024, both Eliza and Bob shared heartwarming tributes to each other on Instagram – which brought a little tear to our eye.

“HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my best friend, my dream guy — You just make everything better. Thanks for choosing to do life with me. I love you so fricken much!!!!” Eliza wrote.

Meanwhile, Bob penned: “Happy Anniversary! This post can’t even come close to the ocean of love, gratitude, respect, and admiration I have for you @elizajaneface. It’s silly how much you mean to me! Off the charts! I cannot wait for the next 5,10, and forever years with you. You are my world. You are the best.”

“My universe, my loves! So very grateful to have these beings in my life! So much love! Every day is a gift, feel like I could burst,” Bob captioned the adorable photo above of his growing Henry and Eliza.

Just when we thought we couldn’t love these two any more… Eliza shares this adorable picture.

Even fans were ecstatic over the rare photo, with one commenting: “WAKE UP EVERYONE MOM AND DAD POSTED”.

Eliza admitted she could watch her two boys all day – how cute!

“Three years ago today we stood atop a big green mountain and said “I do” to a life of loving one another. So much has happened in those three years,” Eliza wrote on Instagram.

“Fires burnt through our homeland, a pandemic shut down the world, and we had a beautiful baby boy. Through it all, our love has only grown stronger. You are a wonderful father and a spectacular husband. Henry and I are so lucky. We love you!! Happy anniversary x”.

In March 2022, Eliza shared this snap of little Henry’s foot.

“Though sleep is well and truly a thing of the past, we could not be happier,” she captioned the photo.

Eliza and Bob’s fans were thrilled and shock to discover the young actress was pregnant.

The love birds have been married since 2019.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, announces she’s finished chemotherapy

Staying "cancer free" is now her focus.
Instagram

Catherine, Princess of Wales, has delighted the nation with her announcement on 10 September 2024 that she has finished chemotherapy and is doing what she “can to stay cancer free”.

The mum-of-three posted a beautiful family video on Instagram where she revealed her positive health update alongside her husband Prince William, their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, her parents and even the family dog.

The intimate video is considered a first for the Royal Family. (Image: Instagram)

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Catherine begins.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life, as you know it, can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.

“With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”

Catherine shares that her journey with cancer has shone light on what’s really important in life – the things that are often taken for granted.

“The simple, yet important, things in life”. (Image: Instagram)

“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple, yet important, things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” she said before updating on her cancer journey.

“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus,” the Princess said.

“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.

“I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.

“Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life,” she said, before sharing gratitude for the outpouring of support she and her family have received.

“William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling.

William has been Kate’s rock during this challenging time. (Image: Instagram)

“To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand.

“Out of darkness, can come light so let that light shine bright,” she concluded.

CATHERINE’S CANCER STORY

On 23 March 2024, Catherine confirmed her cancer diagnosis and shared details about her treatment in a video message uploaded to social media.

The news comes after months of rumours swirled about the 42-year-old’s disappearance from public life following her abdominal surgery in January.

Catherine’s Full Statement:

“I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery,” Kate Middleton’s video began.

“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.

“This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time.

“It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.

“As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.

“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.

“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment.

“My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.

“At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone,” the Princess of Wales concluded.

According to a friend of Kate’s who spoke with The Sunday Times, the mother-of-three wrote “every word” of her emotional speech.

“It allowed her to speak directly to the public who, overwhelmingly, have always been with her and her family and who don’t buy into the noise and gossip.

“It was all her, she wrote every word of it, it came together very quickly,” the source said.

Following the announcement, a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace has confirmed King Charles III is “so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did.”

Charles is also currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, and he and his wife Queen Camilla “will continue to offer their love and support to the whole family through this difficult time”.

The King has “remained in the closest contact with his beloved daughter-in-law throughout the past weeks,” the spokesperson added.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also shared a public statement of support for Catherine.

The Princess of Wales’ brother-in-law Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle “wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

Catherine and her husband Prince William have released their first joint statement since her cancer announcement, with the Wales couple saying they have been “enormously touched” by the love and support they have received since the news was shared.

How a scandalous affair almost tore apart Beau Ryan’s marriage

Beau and Kara have survived rocky patches to become stronger than ever.
Loading the player...

Former NRL player-turned TV and radio star Beau Ryan, 39, is flying high when it comes to both his career and family life, hosting both Top Gear Australia and The Amazing Race Australia in the same year.

But in 2015, it was a different story with the father-of-two’s personal life in turmoil.

After Beau was accused of having an affair with Aladdin And His Wondrous Lamp co-star Lauren Brant, his marriage to wife Kara Ryan (nee Orrell) was on the brink of collapse.

Nearly 10 years after they were in the eye of a media storm, the couple has turned things around and they are now stronger than ever – but their journey was anything but easy.

The scandal that shocked the nation

Nothing tears at the seams of an otherwise indestructible marriage quite like a cheating scandal.

And when Beau Ryan and Hi-5 star Lauren Brant’s sordid love affair was exposed in a Woman’s Day exclusive by Lauren’s scorned fiancé Warren Riley, heartbreak was inevitable.

Personal trainer Warren told Woman’s Day he discovered Lauren and Beau’s fling during what was supposed be a romantic holiday to New Zealand with his fiancée.

After noticing Lauren acting strangely, Warren checked her phone and was heartbroken at the text messages he found – the most gut-wrenching being several where Lauren admitted to friends she and Beau had been intimate.

“The friend was asking her, ‘What’s up between you and Beau – you seem like you have a complicated relationship.’ The friend kept pressing her about it, and Lauren replied, ‘Well… him and I have slept together twice,'” Warren said.

“I didn’t believe what I was reading… I can’t actually describe the feeling,” he added.

“It’s kind of a punch in the stomach. I felt completely sick and didn’t know what to do. Everything you plan for life… it’s just shattering. It’s so out of character for her.”

Making amends

After the news went public, Beau – who starred on the NRL Footy Show at the time – took an abrupt leave of absence and jetted off to Vietnam for what was described in media reports as a “make or break” holiday with Kara.

“Beau and his family are on holiday spending much needed time together and we have no comment to make on their personal life,” a Nine spokesperson said at the time.

When he returned to the Footy Show, Beau made an emotional apology but avoided mentioning both Kara and Lauren by name – or any details of the scandal.

Opening the show, Beau told viewers he wanted to “apologise to all of the people who have been hurt recently.”

He added: “It has been really hard for myself and my family.”

“I want to thank everyone for their support … thank you to everyone who has been respectful of my privacy, I would love for people to continue to do that.”

Surviving the fall out

Six months later, Kara and Beau put on a united front in a tell-all interview with Woman’s Day, insisting they were stronger than ever and opening up about the toll the scandal took on their family.

“It was like my whole world just fell apart. I was just really upset and embarrassed and all I could think about was my family. I just wanted to make sure they were all right,” Beau divulged.

Of course, Kara was having an even tougher time. She said she was shocked by the sudden interest in her private life.

“It was overwhelming. I was upset and confused,” Kara admitted, revealing that she chose to stay holed up at their family home, rather than face the public.

Despite her own anguish, Kara said she felt for her husband during these trying times, saying: “I was actually more worried for Beau, if I’m honest.”

Bouncing back

It took some work for Beau and Kara’s relationship to get back on track and in June 2018, Beau spoke candidly about the rough patch that almost tore them apart.

Speaking on the Balls Deep podcast, Beau admitted to being “self-absorbed” during that period of his life and touched on how his relationship was almost left in tatters.

“In 2015, we had some stuff happen between us that I was super upset about and super ashamed about. I can’t hide from that,” he said.

“It’s always going to be there, but it can shape me to who I am now and learn from my mistakes.”

Never been happier

With the controversy now a distance memory, Kara and Beau are back to being a unified family.

They welcomed their second child in 2017, a son who they named Jesse. Jesse is a sibling to the couple’s nine-year-old daughter Remi.

“We’re really happy at the moment, things are good,” he told TV WEEK just before the birth of Jesse, who is nearly 6-years-old now, adding: “Having another baby has made our relationship stronger.”

And it seems Beau can’t get enough of his daddy duties these days, gushing about his kids during a candid interview with Now To Love in 2020.

“My kids are completely different to each other,” he said.

“My boy is like me – he’s a bit crazy, but my daughter is quite chilled and calm. It tends to be my daughter and I versus the world.”

Outlander Season Seven, Part Two is preparing to wrap up the love story of the century

The story of Jamie and Claire is almost at its end...
Loading the player...

The second part of season seven of the international successful “romantic odyssey,” Outlander is making a major return with our favourite on-screen lovers Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe).

But after season seven’s jaw-dropping end, fans are focused on what happens next.

Outlander season seven is bound to break fans hearts.

(Credit: Instagram)

When is Outlander season seven out?

Unlike what the production team have done before, Outlander season seven will be split into two parts. Outlander part one will air in Australia on Saturday June 17, 2023, and each episode will air in weekly instalments.

Part two however, won’t arrive until November 22, 2024.

It is believed the new season will feature 16 episodes overall.

As for its final eighth season, Starz has previously announced Outlander will conclude with a 10-episode season.

Below we’ve included the official teaser for part two.

What is the plot for Outlander season seven, part two?

In part one, Jaimie, Claire and Ian left the American Revolutionary War and were heading back home to Lallybroch, Scotland – where fans will see some familiar faces according to executive producer Maril David.

Meanwhile, Roger and Bree returned to the 20th century only to discover Rob Cameron has kidnapped their son, Jemmy. The pair believe Rob and Jemmy have returned to the 18th century in order to help him find the hidden Jacobite gold near Fraser’s Ridge.

During the mid-season finale, Roger travelled back in time – with Buck – to find his son while leaving Bree and their daughter, Amanda behind. There’s no doubt the part two will explore this cliff-hanger.

“I would never face my son across the barrel of a gun.”

What was the plot for Outlander Season seven, part one?

The official trailer for season seven opened with Claire singing Ave Marie while walking in a funeral procession. A haunting song with a daunting scene gave a glimpse into how emotionally heartbreaking season seven of Outlander would be.

As Claire tries to escape the hangman’s noose, the family were dragged into the bloody American Revolution of the late 18th century as the trailer showed Jamie charging into battle and a distressed Claire holding a sword.

But Jamie was fighting his own internal war – duty to his country or his family. His now grown-up son William Ransom is none other but a Redcoat, who he may have to fight against.

“Made a promise to myself – I would never face my son across the barrel of a gun,” Jamie said in the trailer.

Meanwhile, Brianna Randall who was revealed to be pregnant with Roger Wakefield child in season six, gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Amanda Claire or ‘Mandy’ for short.

What have the cast said about Outlander season seven?

Overall, the cast’s lips have remained locked shut about what fans can expect in the upcoming season. But during an interview with Digital Spy, Caitriona revealed her character is in a “much better place” after experiencing her “lowest low” in season six.

“Even though there’s a lot of very tough stuff and very dark stuff that happens this season, I think she’s just much more capable of coping with it. I think a big part of that is she doesn’t compartmentalise anymore, she’s not hiding things away,” she said.

When asked what was one of the more challenging scenes on season seven, naturally Caitriona couldn’t answer. But she did reveal working alongside Mark Lewis Jones was a “beautiful” moment.

“There is quite a bit of challenging stuff this season that I can’t talk about, which is really frustrating,” she told the publication.

“I had stuff with Mark Lewis Jones at the start of the season which wasn’t necessarily a challenge, but it was beautiful material to get to work with, and Mark is such an incredible actor.”

However, one “nerve-wracking” challenge she could admit to was singing ‘Ave Maria’ which featured in the season seven trailer.

Caitriona gives fans a sneak peak into season seven.

What book does Outlander season seven follow?

Season six ended with some big cliff-hangers due to COVID which caused production delays. Now, season seven will make up those differences by following the novel, A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

With the second part of the Outlander season seven touching on the seventh book, An Echo In The Bone.

Who are the cast in Outlander season seven?

The main characters including Claire, Jamie, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) will be making a return. Season seven will resurrect some characters who have long died including Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish) who died in season two; and Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek) who died in season three.

Long lost characters will reappear including Loaoghaire Fraser (Nell Hudson) who was last seen in season four; and Ian Murray (Steven Cree) Jamie’s brother-in-law.

Other familiar faces include William Ransom (Charles Vandervaart); Mercy Woodcock (Gloria Obianyo); Benedict Arnold (Rod Hallett); Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton); Buck MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh).

In an unexpected result, the character Jenny Murray – Jamie’s sister- will return but has been recasted from Laura Donnelly to Kristin Atherton.

Sophie Skelton returns as Brianna.

What do we know about the final season?

While we want to post-pone the ending of Outlander and the love-story that has set our standards, fans are dying to know how the hit-series will come to an end. Claire and Jamie’s future is yet to be told, but Caitriona assures the show and its fan base are being honoured.

“It’s going to be really hard to say goodbye to these characters. It’s going to be really hard to say goodbye to each other and not have that kind of constant contact. It feels like it’s the right time, but at the same time, it’s going to be hard I think,” she told Digital Spy.

Caitriona revealed both she and Sam didn’t want the show to wrap up quickly.

“[During filming of] season seven, there were a lot of conversations going on, whether we would have finished it in two episodes, at the end of that season, or whether we would do another one,” she told the publication.

“I think we felt like it was really important to do it right. To honour the show and honour the fan base and I hope we get to do that – I haven’t seen the scripts yet of what season eight is going to be. But I think it is really important that we give it a proper send-off.”

Where to watch Outlander in Australia:

After their time on The Block, Andrew’s profile increased dramatically and has since become one of Australia’s most recognisable faces. Shortly after their win, he was offered a position with the What’s Good For You team and joined the television program in 2006.

Since then, he has gone onto appear on and host numerous programs such as The Project, Studio 10, Breakfast on Channel 10, The Living Room, Channel 7’s National Medical Editor and now hosts Pointless on Channel 10.

Bicker Design in 2011 and Design School in 2016.

Rod and Tania: still together

The childhood sweethearts are still together and raising their two boys. Their Twitter bio pretty much sums up their life right now, “Contestants on The Block 2011 Fanatical Renovators, Business Owners, Love AFL, Love Sport, Adore our 2 Boys”.

Together they run Rod’s sheet metal business in Warragul, Victoria. Rodney handles the metal while Tania takes care of the accounts.

Dan and Dani: Still together

Dan and Dani are currently engaged and only recently celebrated with an engagement party. Dan is back on The Block this season as the ‘ForeDan’, assisting foreman Keith. Dani launched a blog called ‘Basic Habitat‘ and hosts Healthy Homes TV.

The couple also launched a design business called Red Door Project.

Season six was an All-Star season so all couples have already been discussed.

SEASON SEVEN COUPLES

Matt and Kim: married

Kim has returned to her job as a primary school teacher but Matt capitalised on his popularity from the show and launched Nood Co, a concrete rendering company and independent design consultancy business, working on over 13 projects in the intervening years. They even got their own TV show for Channel 9 in Perth, Matt and Kim to the Rescue.

The show sees the couple ‘come to the rescue’ to help out a family in need, calling on donors to help re-design their home, and help overhaul their life.

Bec and George: still together

Bec and George are still together and are now parents to two boys, Archie and Lenny. Since leaving the show, they went on to renovate their own home as well as start a building and design business, Nectar.

Bec and George pose for their official The Block photos.

Madi and Jarrod: Broken up

Despite denying break-up rumours for months, the winning couple got divorced after their time on the show.

Jarrod, a northern beaches site foreman, has continued on the home renovations path as a carpenter and furniture maker and got engaged to his new partner in February this year.

Madi remarried in October 2015 and gave birth to a daughter in July 2017.

Johnno and Trixie: still together

The lovable battlers from season 7 are presumably still married, raising their children in Queensland.

SEASON EIGHT COUPLES

Steve and Chantelle: Broken up

Just like the season before them, only 14 months following the end of the series the winning Victorian couple took to Facebook to share the news they were going their separate ways.

Chantelle now owns Australian headwear label Ford Millinery whilst Steve still works as a chimney sweep but likes to share his #fitspo lifestyle on his Instagram page.

Steve, before and after.

Kyal and Kara: still together

Kyal and Kara are still together and living their best lives on the NSW Central Coast.

The couple welcomed their second baby earlier this year and love sharing their life with their 200k + followers on Instagram.

The now full-time renovators regularly appear on Channel 10’s The Living Room, run a successful design and construction business, and also have their own website.

SEASON NINE COUPLES

Michael and Carlene: Still together

Hearts broke around the nation when this couple only made 10 grand after their time on The Block. Michael and Carlene didn’t let this get them down though and have since launched a business, Cedar and Suede – a home renovation, design and styling consultancy service.

They also host Ready Set Reno and Open Homes on 9Life.

Chris and Jenna: Still together

The couple welcomed their first child together in June 2015 and according to their joint Instagram page bio, they are “Christians. Renovates. Kitchen Designers. Parents”.

Max and Karstan: Still together

Karstan’s urge to pursue a creative career lead to the birth of their new biz, Poppy Smith Design, which produces homeware pieces however nothing has been posted on the business’ Instagram page since 2015 so it’s unsure whether it is still going strong or not. According to their joint Instagram, the couple still have reno fever – Karstan even started his carpentry apprenticeship in May last year.

Darren and Deanne: still together

The season nine winners are still happily married, raising two daughters, and even launched their own business, D+D Home. Deanne also co-hosts Open Homes Australia.

SEASON 10 COUPLES

Josh and Charlotte: still together

Josh and Charlotte are still together and even got engaged in November last year. After her time on The Block, Charlotte returned to normal life and completed a Masters in Teaching (Primary) whilst Josh now runs JTDC, a Sydney based company that specialises in residential and commercial builds.

Tim and Anastasia: Still together

These contestants from The Block: Triple Threat now run and own a design and construction business ‘T&A Design and Construct’. The company offers a range of services including initial consultation, preliminary designs, working drawings, engineering, council applications and more.

Ayden and Jess: still together

Ayden and Jess now have two kids but like most of the other contestants that have gone on the reality series, the duo have not put down their tools and are currently building their own home. They are also ambassadors for Highgrove bathrooms and furniture one.

SEASON 11 COUPLES

Kingi and Caro: still together

Despite these Block favourites not winning the series, this couple took the judges advice and went on to start their own business, KCT Creative Rendering. And only 5 days ago, Caro launched Ivy & Pau, a fashion brand creating stylish wire headbands designed to make dirty hair stylish one messy bun at a time – yes please!

The couple also welcomed baby number 2 in mid-November, Hendrix Pau.

Andrew and Whitney: broken up

After a very tumultuous journey on the reality show, the couple who had met on Tinder two years earlier decided to go their separate ways. Whitney is now a cosmetic tattooist.

Dean and Shay: still together

The winning team from season 11 are still together and love to travel and share their adventures on their blog, The Gathering Folk. They also recently welcomed baby boy Vinnie Clifford, to join bigger sister Everly.

Dean and Shay made a total profit of $755,000!

SEASON 12 COUPLES

William and Karlie: still together

The couple (who have just returned from a Europe holiday) got married in April last year, enjoying a beautiful Byron Bay wedding. They’ve been sharing their renovation progress with their 26k+ followers.

Dan and Carleen: still together

Despite living in different areas of Western Australia, the reality TV couple denied rumours that that they were separated and are, in fact, still together.

Julie and Sasha: still together

Currently living in Seattle, the pair are working in property development. They also finished renovating a new home, which they dubbed Little Willow.

Julie and Sasha are still together.

Chris and Kim: still together

When they’re not caravanning around Australia with their two children and sharing the journey with us all via their blog, ‘Adventures of Kim and Chris‘, Kim is a school vice-principal and Chris, a police officer.

SEASON 13 COUPLES

Jason and Sarah: still together

The couple who have been together for over 25 years are still going strong. Unlike the other contestants, both Jason and Sarah returned to their day jobs after the show; Jason is a plumber whilst Sarah is a nurse.

Clint and Hannah: still together

Hannah and Clint are still going strong, raising their two children in Melbourne. Hannah is currently 5 months pregnant and is sharing her amazing pregnancy style via Instagram. Clint, an ex NRL player, still works in property sales.

Georgia and Ronnie: still together

Georgia and Ronnie have signed with Channel 9 and have been brought on to share their love for renovating. On social media, they share their renovating and family lifestyle.

Elyse and Josh: still together

Elyse Knowles, probably one of the most well-known Blockheads, is still modelling and her career has been on the rise since her appearance on The Block last year. Josh has been supporting her every step of the way and has returned to his life pre-The Block, working as a carpenter.

SEASON 14 COUPLES

Sara and Hayden: still together

Hayden is a construction project manager while Sara is a former flight attendant and stay-at-home mum to their daughter Harlow.

With their eyes firmly on the prize, it’s no surprise the couple ruffled a few feathers throughout the competition.

‘We’re pretty open. We don’t hold anything back,’ Sara said of their altercations with the other contestants.

But their strategy seemed to work, as they won!

Jess and Norm: still together

Nicknamed ‘Hurricane Jess and Norm’, viewers fell in love with these Aussies who had encountered their fair share of hardships.

Kerry and Spence: still together

The husband-and-wife duo were no strangers to the reno world when they went on The Block. Their home had already featured on the architecture TV series Grand Designs!

Hans and Courtney: still together

This go-getting team was a force to be reckoned with. Hans is a commercial airline pilot and Courtney, a flight supervisor. The pair had been together for seven years and got engaged just one week before the show. Now, they share a beautiful little girl named Ava.

SEASON 15 COUPLES

Andy and Deb: still together

Comedian Andy Saunders and his wife Deb were a season favourite. Before the show, they already had some experience, renovating their fashion and homewares store The Shed Luxe.

Mitch and Mark: still together

The stylish grandads and interior design enthusiasts Mitch and Mark were grateful they had plenty of renovation experience up their sleeves before they went on the show.

The expert property flippers had renovated several properties across Sydney and even featured on Aussie Property Flippers back in 2017.

Elise and Matt: still together

The couple brought a lot of enthusiasm to the show, completing the renovation with flying colours.

Jesse and Mel: still together

Jesse and Mel, St Kilda locals, knew the area (and the market) well. They had renovated together previously, which was a huge advantage in a competition like this. However, it wasn’t enough to get them the win.

Tess and Luke: still together

The couple had been together for eight years and had just recently tied the knot before going on the show. So basically, The Block was their honeymoon. That’s one way to test a marriage!

Throughout the season, they won the least amount of rooms. So when the lovebirds took out first place and pocketed $730,000, it was a win no one saw coming, not even themselves.

SEASON 16 COUPLES

Jimmy and Tam: still together

Not only did this couple win, but they set a new record! set a record. They made $966,000 in profit plus the $100,000 prize money for earning the highest profit at the auction. That made Jimmy and Tam instant millionaires, with a total of $1,066,000.

Sarah and George: still together

A strong relationship paired with some pretty solid renovating experience made this couple one to watch. George had been an electrician for 13 years prior to the show, and the couple had renovated two homes together.

Daniel and Jade: still together

This farmers couple went on The Block, hoping it would turn their lives around. The farm life isn’t easy, especially when contending with draughts and bush fires. But today, the parents of three seem happy and well.

Jasmin and Luke: still together

married with two young kids, are ready to school the other contestants on how to build the best house on The Block 2020.

Luke was an experienced carpenter and Jasmin, a teacher who knew how to keep the troops in line. They thought they might have had the perfect mix of skills to be the first West Australian couple to win The Block. Alas, no.

SEASON 17 COUPLES

Tanya and Vito: still together

The couple have been together for two decades and married for 18 years, with children Eva and Josiah before going on the show.

Family is everything to the couple, who wanted to give their kids a goal to look up to by appearing on The Block.

Kirsty and Jesse: still together

Kirsty and Jesse have always been a rock-solid couple. And when it comes to their reno experience, the couple had a little.

They bought their first house at 18, renoed it and then sold it, making $60,000 and catching the renovation bug. Since then, they went on to buy and flip at least half a dozen houses.

Mitch and Mark: still together

Block repeats and show favourites, Mitch and Mark went on to win this season! They were crowned the winners of The Block 2021, giving them $100,000 in prize money.

SEASON 18 COUPLES

Elle and Joel: still together

This controversial couple was engaged when they were on the show, and now, they’re married. They’ll live in infamy as the ones who controversially left The Block three days in.

Ryan and Rachel: still together

When Elle and Joel walked off the Block set after three days, this Sutherland Shire couple dropped everything to take their place. Ryan, a plumber by trade launched his own renovation business with Rachel, The R&R Design Co.

Ankur and Sharon: still together

Despite their lack of house-building knowledge, the couple refused to shy away from hard work. Sharon said she grew up on a farm and was a fix-it girl like her dad taught her.

Dylan and Jenny: still together

The sweet young couple from the Gold Coast looked cute, but they came with a trick or two up their sleeves to The Block. Dylan was a builder and Jenny was an apprentice carpenter. The couple own their own construction company Smooth Sailing Designs and had to put the tools down on their own project – a Hamptons-style beach house – to star on The Block

Tom and Sarah-Jane: still together

This Melbourne couple was a source of some fiery arguments. But we loved them anyway!

SEASON 19 COUPLES

Kyle and Leslie: still together

Kyle and Leslie dreamt of going on the show for a decade, having applied to be contestants on countless times in the past. Both in their thirties, the firefighter and educational assistant had experience renovating their own home, which they built from bare bones.

Lea and Ash: still together

Leah and Ash were one of the most experienced couples on the show in 2023. The Brisbane pair and parents of three ran their own business and had steadily worked their way through several home flips, including many of their own.

They even stepped away from their current (at the time) renovation – a dilapidated Queenslander – to go on the show!

Kristy and Brett: still together

Both from Adelaide, SA, the couple hoped their careers in the power and energy space would serve them well in this season of The Block. Kristy was competitive and Brett had a trade secret he wanted to keep close to his chest and away from the other contestants’ prying ears.

Steph and Gian: still together

The couple had only just completed their own home renovation before going on the show. And apparently, the experience paid off! The had a record-breaking win with a profit of $1.75 million!

SEASON 20 COUPLES

Jesse and Paige: still together

Engaged couple Jesse and Paige made the difficult decision to depart the 2024 season of The Block just weeks into filming. Despite rumours that the reason for their exit was to save their relationship, Jesse and Paige have confirmed they are very much still together, and are in the process of planning their wedding.

The beautiful love story of Manu Feildel and Clarissa Weerasena

How "who the hell are you" turned into true love for these two...
Loading the player...

Thanks to his French accent and cooking talents, dreamy My Kitchen Rules judge and chef Manu Feildel has often had fans swooning over him.

But when the former SAS: Australia contender and Australia’s Got Talent judge met his now-wife Clarissa Weerasena at Sydney’s Ivy night club in 2011, she had a slightly different reaction.

Clarissa revealed to The Australian’s Women’s Weekly in 2016 that she had no idea who the famous chef was.

“He comes up to me and says, ‘Your friend says that you can cook better than me,’ and I said, ‘I probably can,'” recalled Clarissa. “I thought, who the hell are you?”

Manu also shared his side of their fateful first meeting in an interview with TV WEEK.

“We met in a lift going to a nightclub in Sydney. She didn’t know who I was,” he explained.

“We didn’t see each other for three months after that, then we caught up for a drink. I was nervous, because three months had passed.”

The MKR judge continued: “We didn’t see each other for another three months, then had some lunch. The rest is history.”

But it was Clarissa’s talents in the kitchen that really sealed the deal for the chef, who is famous for his strong views on sauce accompanying meals.

After tasting one of her dishes, Manu had found The One.

“Clarissa ticked all the boxes – and that was the biggest box. I was like, thank God! She loves eating and she loves cooking – she’s perfect!” he told The Australian Women’s Weekly.

Head over heels in love, Manu popped the question to the jewellery designer in 2013 and the couple welcomed daughter Charlee in 2015.

Manu was also previously in a 12-year relationship with Ronnie Morshead and they share son Jonti together.

After a four-year engagement, the smitten pair finally tied the knot in what Manu described as a “beautiful intimate ceremony” in January 2018.

The celebrity chef announced the happy news on his Instagram account at the time.

“I’ve often said don’t believe what you read in the press but now you hear it from the horse’s mouth, yes it’s true I am married!” he wrote.

“Last week I married the love of my life Clarissa in a beautiful intimate ceremony. We had a wonderful day surrounded by family and friends and lots of love and laughter.”

And the fairytale romance doesn’t look set to end anytime soon! In March, Manu shared a sweet snap with his glamorous wife as they celebrated his 46th birthday.

“Happy B’day to me!!! 46 years young and going strong. Best wife, best son, best daughter, best life,” he gushed.

In an interview with Now To Love in 2021, the beloved chef revealed that their lasting romance comes down to a few simple things – one of which, to no surprise, is cooking.

“We cook every day and that’s what we love doing, we cook for each other, and my wife is a great cook,” he revealed.

Happy family! Manu with son Jonti, daughter Charlee and wife Clarissa. (Image: @manufeildelofficial/ Instagram)

Manu continued: “Spending time together and making sure you don’t take each other for granted.

“You know, sometimes when you’ve been together for too long, you kind of forget what the relationship started with.”

But when Manu and his wife can’t cook together, he is more than happy for Clarissa to be head chef.

“She’s Malaysian and Sri Lankan. Asians, in general love cooking, and they love sharing food with their families and friends,” Manu told New Idea in an exclusive interview.

“And Clarissa is a very good cook, and she can cook all different types of cuisines, so I’m happy to let her cook most of the time. I do about 30% and she does about 70%.”

Manu Fieldel with his wife.

Manu also revealed what a special date night looks like for him and his wife, and surprisingly there is no cooking involved.

“If we have a date night, we just go out to be honest with you. We love going out, we love Japanese food, it’s one of our favourites.

“All our life is surrounded by food, that’s definite. Even when we go on holidays, we go where we can find some good restaurants,” said Manu.

Now he’s heading back to judge My Kitchen Rules, so there will be even more food to talk about with his wife – though she won’t be tasting it.
