What this weather presenter did will leave you in awe!

Because nailing the pronunciation of the Welsh town Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is pretty darn inspirational.
Liam Dutton Channel 4 Weather Presenter

Channel 4 weather presenter Liam Dutton deserves a raise and it’s not because of his unparalleled meteorology skills.

Like every good weatherman, Liam was fulfilling the requirements of his job by sharing the temperatures of the United Kingdom with his viewers, but he rose well above the line of duty when it came time to announce the hottest place in the UK that day.

Liam explained, “In the sunshine in North West Wales… just up the road from, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch the temperature got to 21 Celsius.”

Nope, a cat did not just walk across the keyboard! This is the name of an actual place in Wales and this weather guy didn’t miss a beat when pronouncing it.

Naturally, Liam has had an outpouring of praise for doing what can only be described as the impossible and he took to twitter to pass on his thanks, “Thanks for the kind words this evening, all! 😉 #Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,” he tweeted succinctly in under 140 characters of course.

Perhaps the most incredible thing about this story is that Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is not the longest name for a geographical location.

That award goes to the New Zealand town of Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu.

Your move, Liam.

The sign at the local train station!
