The White House released a video of the young-at-heart Virginia meeting the American commander-in-chief.

Squealing with delight as she walks into the Blue Room, the 106-years-young woman gushes, “It’s an honour, it’s an honour!”

But it was Obama who was honoured. Bursting with pride he exclaimed to Michelle that their special guest was “106!”

Upon meeting the senior citizen, Michelle couldn’t help but notice Virginia’s on point manicure.

“We’re so happy to have you here,” the fashion forward First Lady said, before noticing Virginia’s purple manicure. “And look at those nails!”

A friend of Virginia’s reached out to the White House, explaining that the widow has been volunteering throughout the Washington D.C. area for decades and it would be a dream to meet the First Family.

Subsequently, Obama invited her to the White House for 2016’s Black History Month celebrations, and she was overwhelmed with the enormity of what she was experiencing.
