Donald Trump is no stranger to controversy, so the latest revelations about his “insane” divorce from his first wife, Ivana Trump, should do little to faze him.
Ivana Trump has started something of a publicity tornado around her new book, ‘Raising Trump’ which tells of the sordid affair that brought her 15 year marriage with the current president of the United States to an end.

Ivana Trump was the first wife of Donald Trump they were married for 15 years, from 1977 until 1992. Ivana is also the mother of the Donald Trump’s three eldest children, Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric.
According to Associated Press, Ivana throws some serious shade at Marla Maples, the woman who is credited with breaking up Ivana and Donald’s marriage.
“I can only shake my head at how it insane it was,” she says of the divorce in her new book.
Donald Trump married Marla Maples in 1993. The pair were married for six years and she is the mother of Tiffany Trump.

Ivana divulges that neither she nor her three children spoke to Donald for a year following the divorce.
Associated Press report on a section of the new book that details the moment in 1989 when Marla and Ivana came face to face. Donald and Marla’s affair was in full swing at the time, though he was still married to Ivana.
This young blonde woman approached me out of the blue and said ‘I’m Marla and I love your husband. Do you?'” Ivana reportedly writes.
“I said ‘Get lost. I love my husband.’ It was unladylike but I was in shock.”
In interviews around her new book, Ivana has slammed Marla, calling her a nobody and a showgirl.
“I don’t talk about her. She’s a showgirl. Never achieve anything in her life,” she told CBS news.
It is reported that Ivana is now on good terms with President Trump and his third wife, Melania.
