Dean and his partner Lauren were ecstatic when they discovered they’ll be parents for the first time and as soon as they hit the 12 week mark they were bursting to tell the soon-to-be-father’s parents in Scotland.

Dean and his beloved parents keep in regular contact over Skype and he revealed to Woman’s Day, “I do a bit of photography as a hobby and I normally show my parents some pictures I’ve recently taken.”

But the future grandparents were never expecting to be shown a picture like this and their priceless reaction was capture and uploaded to YouTube.

“It was quite a shock and funny reaction when instead of holding up a picture I’d taken with my digital camera it was of our 12 week ultrasound scans,” Dean mused to us.

Dean and Laura will become parents for the very first time!

The touching video shows Dean telling his mum and dad, “Have you got your glasses on, I’ve got a new picture for you.”

“Oh my God, oh my God! Is that a baby,” his mum says before adding, “whose is it?”

When the Scottish pair were reassured that the ultra sound pic did in fact belong to their son and his wife, the realisation of becoming grandparents for the very first time set in.
