A 13-year-old girl who was travelling alone was groped by a man on her American Airlines flight.
A flight attendant noticed a tear on the girls’ face as Chad Cameron Camp allegedly assaulted her, Sky News reports.
Camp, 26, has been charged with abusive sexual contact following the incident on the Dallas to Portland flight.
He allegedly began making small talk with the child before placing his hand on her knee and upper thigh.
When the crew member noticed what was happening, they ordered Camp to move towards the back of the plane.
The girl was also allocated a new sat.
Authorities were alerted and FBI agents were waiting for Camp when their plane arrived in Portland.
