A dying man has chosen an inflatable sex doll instead of a real woman to be his wife because he didn’t want to leave a heartbroken widow.
The photos of the 28-year-old man and his bride have become an internet sensation, with users dubbing them the “saddest wedding pictures ever taken.”
CCTV reports that the Beijing resident is suffering from a terminal illness (reportedly cancer) and wanted to experience a top-of-the-range wedding shoot before he died.
So, he bought a realistic inflatable sex doll and wedding dress before arranging for her to be professionally styled and made up before tying the knot.
However, some sceptics are saying that it’s all just a clever advertising hoax.
Yet the couple’s wedding photographer has defended the man’s decision to marry the sex doll, calling it a matter of “personal freedom” that no one should ever judge.
