There were plenty of tears of laughter at Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann’s nuptials to TV producer Kelly Kearney at the famous Chez Gado Gado on Monday last week.
Married beneath an arch of white gerberas and daisies in a beautiful sunset ceremony overlooking Seminyak Beach, Bali, the Project panellist couldn’t wipe the smile from his face as he watched walk down the aisle in a classic off-white, floor-length lace gown.
Meanwhile, Lehmo’s best mate Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, gave a touching reading on the restaurant balcony in front of a small group of family and friends, including TV hosts Wil Anderson, Dave Hughes, Mick Molloy and Chrissie Swan.
The couple known as “Kelmo” got engaged two years ago after two years together. Lehmo asked her to marry him in a calamitous Christmas Eve proposal involving a noisy hippo and a diamond stuck in his cargo pants while on a safari holiday in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
Sharing pictures of the day on Instagram with the hashtag #kelmowedding, Lehmo wrote: “No second thoughts!!!!! Yep, we did it! #sohappy.”
