A six-year-old boy has been indecently assaulted in a McDonald’s restaurant in the Sydney suburb of Lansvale.
The boy was sitting in a high chair in the restaurant’s busy dining area at around 3.30pm on Monday when a 29-year-old man approached him, seemingly on his way to the toilets.
As he walked past, the man allegedly put his hand between the boy’s legs and groped his genitals.
Police used CCTV footage to identify the man and he was arrested and charged with aggravated indecent assault.
He was granted bail and is due to appear in Liverpool Local Court on August 1.
