The Lair family is made up of Cher, 36 her husband Stephen, 38, their boys Jackson, 13, Campbell 10, Sawyer, seven, Houston, five, Shepard, four, Knox, two, and now new addition Ruby Jane.
In a video released by News Observer the six doting brothers meet little Ruby for the very first time and even they are overwhelmed by how quickly they fall head over heels for the bundle of joy.
“She’s so small! I didn’t think babies were this little,” a confused Jackson confesses, while two-year-old Knox is lost for words and opts to plant a big kiss on his sister instead.
“I’m excited that she’s here, I’m scared because it’s a girl,” Campbell honestly admits and Sawyer explains, “She’s as precious as a ruby.”
“I look forward to growing up with her because I just don’t know how this is going to be, I’ve grown up with boys like six times” the eldest Lair boy added.

But not every brother was on board. Young Houston had some serious concerns, revealing, “I’m worried about the pink, because I think when she’s five or six or seven she might get paint and paint pink everywhere.”
Despite Ruby being only days old, Campbell is already planning out her future.
“I’m definitely gonna be a protector, like when she gets old enough and she gets a boyfriend and brings him home, all she’s gonna say is ‘Meet my brothers, to have me you’re gonna have to go through them,’” he explained.
Although some of the boys had their reservations one thing was for sure, they were each completely smitten with their little sister.
The video has gone viral, and this isn’t the first time the Lair family have been internet sensations.
Earlier this year the family filmed their reaction to discovering that they were finally having a girl, and mum Cher was so excited she almost collapsed!
Something tells us that little Ruby Jane is going to be VERY well looked after.
