Sex offender ‘rapes girls’ hours after he was paroled

A convicted child rapist allegedly sexually assaulted two teenage girls he met on his way home from jail.

The 26-year-old Sydney man was released on parole on Monday and allegedly met one of the victims on the train on his way home.

He then allegedly took the girl, 16, and one of her 15-year-old friends to Best Road Reserve in Seven Hills, in Sydney’s west, where Police claim he indecently and sexually assaulted them.

After the alleged assault, the girls went to Blacktown Hospital where they were treated and reported the matter to police.

The man was arrested at Lethbridge Park the following morning and was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where he was charged with rape and assault with an act of indecency.

He was refused bail and will appear at Mount Druitt Local Court later today.
