South Australian police are investigating unexplained bones discovered in a rural cemetery about 90 minutes’ drive from Adelaide on the Yorke Peninsula.
The bones were discovered in the cemetery near Ardrossan yesterday. The details are sketchy for the moment but police say their investigation has been prompted “by the location in which they were found”.
Forensic Crime Examiners along with local CIB and Major Crime Detectives are currently at the cemetery situated on the Yorke Highway. They will be assisted by local SES volunteers in a search of the area.
