It’s every parent’s worst nightmare: a toddler, who became lost amid the Christmas rush at Homebush Shopping Centre in NSW, has been exposed to by the security guard who found her, report Police.
The alleged offence took place on Sunday, with the 27-year-old shopping centre employee arrested yesterday at a Western Sydney home. He is charged with committing an act of indecency with person under the age of 16 years.
The security guard responded to a call out to find the lost toddler but rather than returning her immediately once found, he took her into a corridor where he exposed himself before returning her to her panicked parents, Police will allege in court.
It is unclear whether the alleged act was captured on CCTV or whether the girl told her parents.
The man has been refused bail and will face court today.
