NSW Police advise that: “Nine-year-old Natalya Franklin was last seen about 10.30am (Thursday 7 May 2015) at her rural home on Northbank Road, Raleigh, about 24km south of Coffs Harbour, after speaking with her siblings.”

“Natalya’s parents alerted police when she left the house and failed to return.

“Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command and SES officers initiated a search at the home and surrounding properties, however Natalya has not been seen since.”

Police are particularly concerned due to the cold temperatures overnight as when Natalya went missing, she was wearing only a t-shirt and shorts, with bare feet. The Bureau of Meterology report that the temperature in Coffs Harbour fell to eight degrees overnight.

Her family say her disappearance is extremely out of character and they are highly concerned for her welfare.

Natalya is described as being “of Caucasian appearance, with a fair complexion, long light-brown hair, brown eyes, about 145cm tall and of thin build.”

“Natalya was last seen wearing bright pink shorts, a peach-coloured t-shirt, no shoes.”

Anyone who may have information is urged to come forward and call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
