The Perth couple addressed media about Andrew’s missing sister.
“We love you so much; please, just come home to us,” a devastated Andrew said.
The MKR contestants were known for their passion of mixing food and science back in season three. Now, Andrew’s biggest concern is the safety of his missing sibling.
“If you are out there, please contact us – just come home or contact us if you’re out there,” Andrew pleaded, adding, “If you have seen Robyn, please contact us.”
A land and sea search was conducted on Monday and continued this morning after the 36-year-old’s car was found abandoned at Perth’s City Beach car park on Sunday.
Robyn’s husband, Troy was visibly shaken and distraught during the press conference, also begging for his wife to return home.
“Please come home, Robyn. The kids and I, we all miss you, we miss you so much,” Troy said in the car park where her car was found.
Concern was raised about Robyn’s whereabouts after her car was found on Sunday at 4pm.
The family last heard from her on Saturday night, with Andrew commenting, “We think she was here (at City Beach) late Saturday night and no one has heard or seen her since.”
Robyn’s car was found north of Clancy’s Fish Pub, but locals including the pub’s deputy manager, Steph Case, haven’t noticed any unusual activity. Robyn’s family are hopeful that she is safe and well.
Police inspector Simon O’Rourke has commented that at this stage police don’t believe the 36-year-old has met with foul play.
Along with police, boats, jet skis and aircraft are being used to search an area of ocean covering about 65km off the coast.
Robyn is described as 170 centimetres tall, with a fair complexion, medium build and short brown hair.
If you see Robyn or have any information, please call police on 131 444.
