Murdered couple were alive when they were forced into coffin

A Queensland man and woman found dumped in a metal box in a dam were alive when they were locked in the coffin-shaped container.

Cory Breton and his sister-in-law Iuliana Triscaru were taken from their unit in Logan, south of Brisbane, on January 24. They were gagged and forced into the box.

Cramped and desperately uncomfortable, they were then forced to endure a 10-minute car trip to a nearby dam. Once there, they were both shot in the head before their bodies were dumped in the locked box in the water.

Queensland Police found the box last week. When they opened it, they discovered the remains of Breton and Triscaru.

Six people have been charged with their murder, including a mother of seven.
