A Melbourne mother has been charged with murdering three of her children and attempting to murder the fourth by driving the family car into a lake.
Akon Guode, 36, was arrested and taken into custody at Melbourne West police station yesterday at around 12pm.
Officers charged her with murdering her one-year-old baby Bol and four-year-old twins Madit and Hanger, as well as the attempted murder of Aluel, six, who survived when the family’s Toyota Kluger plunged into Lake Gladman in Wyndham Vale on April 8.
Guode will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
