A stockbroker on trial for the alleged rape of a woman during an alcohol and cocaine fuelled night out has told a court he thought the woman was crying during sex because his penis was too large and hurting her.
British man Daniel Green, 26, allegedly attacked the woman 29-year-old after an evening of drinking with work mates in May 2015 turned into a party back at the StratX Markets offices in London where he worked, reports The Mail Online.
The woman claims she had tried to have a sleep under a desk when the party kicked-on around her and that’s where Green allegedly raped her.
Green told the court that the sex was consensual and he only thought the complainant was upset because he has a 10 inch penis and sex can be difficult, reports The Metro.
When questioned about why he thought the woman was crying during his attempts to penetrate her Green said:
“Maybe my penis was hurting her,” said Mr Green. “I always have difficulty when it comes to having sex with girls; I find my penis is hard to penetrate females unless there is lube readily available.
He added: “The last relationship I had we didn’t have sex a lot, if we did manage to do it would cause her pain and we wouldn’t be able to have sex for a few weeks.”
Green said that woman could be making up the rape claim just because he is a stockbroker and “maybe the fact that it was a one night stand for a woman with a career.”
While giving her testimony to the court the woman cried as she told the jury she had repeatedly said “no” and was too frightened to call out for help.
“I absolutely didn’t consent to sex with Daniel, it was rape and I was trying to get away,” said the alleged victim.
“I didn’t shout out for someone to come and help me, my focus was in trying to get away.”
After the incident the woman is said to her called her friend who immediately reported it to police and Green was arrested and charged with a single count of rape.
Green denies the charge and the trial continues.
