The happy newlyweds from Virginia uploaded their happy snap to Facebook, before one of their friends pointed out what appeared to be a very creepy, ghoulish face between the pair.
Husband, Kevin Dennis, who understandably was a little shaken, took to news and social networking site Reddit to share the supernatural image and hopefully get some answers.
“Me and my wife’s favourite wedding photo…until we saw what was between us,” he explained, before adding: “We still don’t know who it was.”
The spine-tingling photo received a lot of interest from Reddit users and many offered their own theories..
“I think it might be a boy…or Satan,” one user suggested.
Another had a more sinister theory, writing: “It’s your unborn baby.”
Despite the unhelpful responses, many put forward more sensible explanations: “I am pretty sure that’s the folds in someone’s pinkish cardigan.”.
Regardless of the plethora of comments, the concerned couple never found out who or rather what the figure was. However, there was some good that came out of it.
A kind Reddit user took the time to Photoshop the image, removing the eerie face and enhancing their happy moment.
A helpful Reddit user used their Photoshopping skills so the couple could enjoy their favourite snap again.
