The all-girl team called themselves “Freeze” after their parents suggested a Frozen-themed name would help to encourage them to play.

The group of Elsa-loving girls proves that just because you like to dress like a princess, doesn’t mean you can’t be a force to be reckoned with!

Betsy Gregory, the mother of one of the team members did a team photo shoot of the girls and captured some seriously tough game faces.

In a world where girls are too often celebrated for being pretty rather than their strengths and talents, it’s great to see some photos that presents a more realistic image of what it means to be a girl.

Hashtag: Girl Power!

Gregory spoke to The Huffington Post about the photos, saying she hopes they will be a powerful message for the young girls, “It’s empowering, really, for little girls… ‘I can dress up but I can still be tough.’” she said.

“We want the girls to be proud of who they are and feel empowered to take on this crazy world we live in!”

We couldn’t agree more!
