Reportedly taken in Vancouver, Canada the photo has gained over three and a half million views after it was posted by the user ‘jagershotzz’ on reddit under the headline “Dads”.
Almost 2000 people have commented on the image in the two days it’s been online.
And while most commenters gushed about the mystery dad, there were a few cynics.
“Give the umbrella to the kid. Hold the kid. Problem solved,” wrote one user.
“Moms would have brought two umbrellas,” wrote another.
Probably true, but it doesn’t make us think any less of this mystery man.
