WATCH: Dad nails dance moves at gig and steals show

“He was going non-stop for minutes and pulling out some classic moves usually only seen at weddings and drunken parties."

The classic dad dance.

It’s usually every teen’s worst nightmare – seeing their parent partake in such unrythmic moves from the 90’s overcompensated with enthusiasm.

But the child who dragged this dad to The Vamps concert at Thorne Park in England last week should only be proud, as their father absolutely nailed it.

While teens bopped their heads along to the band, this middle-aged silver fox teared up the floor beneath him, stealing many eyes away from the show.

“I was at an Island Beats concert with The Vamps at Thorpe Park on Saturday 11th July 2015 and witnessed this man nailing the dance floor better than anyone else in the whole crowd,” Andy Morris, who posted the footage to Youtube, told The Daily Mail.

“He was going non-stop for minutes and pulling out some classic moves usually only seen at weddings and drunken parties. Fans of the Vamps were loving it.”

The identity of the coolest dad to grace the internet is yet to be exposed, however, for his child, or children’s sake we certainly think it should.

Like many (I imagine) I originally mistook the man donning the polo shirt and bootleg jeans for my own father, leaving me with only disappointment when I realised it wasn’t. Because with over one million views in just a few days this dad has just made the #daddance cooler than The Vamps.
