A wife is on a desperate search to find her German Sheppard Husky Crosses, Blu and Zac, to make her husband’s final days “a bit happier” after they went missing.
Carol Ostell launched “Help Find Blu and Zac” on Facebook after the dogs were taken from their farm in North Yorkshire, England on New Year’s Eve.
Since then, her search has become more urgent as her husband Alistair, 70, has been diagnosed with terminal lymphoma – a form of blood cancer.
Carol believes the dogs disappearance hasn’t help Alistair, who is also an Alzehimer’s sufferer.
“He suffers from Alzheimer’s and then when the dogs were taken we were both completely devastated and shortly after that he was diagnosed with lymphoma and it’s obviously difficult,” she told ITV news.
More than 7000 people have now joined the social media campaign to help find the pups.
Our fingers are crossed that Blu and Zac are found!
