Dying man seeks reunion with stolen dogs

Have you seen Blu and Zac?
Two white dogs, one with a fluffy coat and a friendly expression, the other with a smooth coat and an alert gaze.

A wife is on a desperate search to find her German Sheppard Husky Crosses, Blu and Zac, to make her husbandโ€™s final days โ€œa bit happierโ€ after they went missing.

Carol Ostell launched โ€œHelp Find Blu and Zacโ€ on Facebook after the dogs were taken from their farm in North Yorkshire, England on New Yearโ€™s Eve.

Since then, her search has become more urgent as her husband Alistair, 70, has been diagnosed with terminal lymphoma โ€“ a form of blood cancer.

Carol believes the dogs disappearance hasnโ€™t help Alistair, who is also an Alzehimerโ€™s sufferer.

โ€œHe suffers from Alzheimerโ€™s and then when the dogs were taken we were both completely devastated and shortly after that he was diagnosed with lymphoma and itโ€™s obviously difficult,โ€ she told ITV news.

More than 7000 people have now joined the social media campaign to help find the pups.

Our fingers are crossed that Blu and Zac are found!
