As the world reacts to the expert’s conclusion made in the explosive two-part docuseries The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey, a lawyer for the Ramsey family has threatened to sue CBS for the “false and unprofessional television attack” made on the now 29-year-old brother of the victim, Burke.
“I’m absolutely going to sue CBS on behalf of Burke as a result of the false accusations and the fraud of the docuseries by CBS,” attorney L. Lin Wood told People.
To conclude the riveting two-part docuseries, the team theorised, that instead of the original hypothesis that an intruder was responsible for the six-year-old’s death, they allege that her nine-year-old brother had accidentally but fatally struck the pageant queen on the head with a flashlight.
As per the discovery of partially digested pineapple found in her stomach during her autopsy, the panel of experts, which included a criminal behavioural analyst, a forensic scientist, a former FBI profiler and a pathologist, gave their professional opinion that JonBenet took a piece of her brother’s midnight snack of pineapple and milk, which caused him to react angrily by hitting her in the head with a nearby flashlight.
The experts went on to claim that the parents staged a crime scene and ransom note, to make it appear as if an intruder was responsible for the death of their daughter.
Burke’s fingerprints were found on the bowl of pineapple, despite parents John and Patsy’s testimony that their son had been fast asleep throughout the entire ordeal.
Family friend and photography to the Ramsey family, Judith Miller, spoke to the television investigators.
She claimed that Patsy spoke of her son Burke loosing his temper with his little sister, a year prior to her death, resulting in him striking JonBenet in the face, with a golf club.

Burke’s attorney believes the conclusion reached by the CBS show’s panel of experts will haunt the remainder of the 29-year-old’s life.
“CBS doesn’t have enough money to compensate this man for the permanent damage they have caused this man’s reputation that he has to live with for the rest of his life,” he told E! News.
“Now, from age 29 until he takes his last breath, he will be haunted by these accusations the network has put out.”
“There is no new investigation,” Lin Wood continued.
“This was a show [to] produce ratings and money like [The People v. O.J. Simpson] and Netflix’s Making a Murderer. They are putting this out for September sweeps. The 20th anniversary is in December, not September.”
Taking aim at the documentary’s panel, he went on: “The accusations of the CBS so-called ‘experts’ lack substantial evidentiary support and contradict the factual conclusions reached by legitimate law enforcement authorities and experts familiar with the actual evidence developed in the case.
“CBS’ false and unprofessional attacks on this young man are disgusting and revolting.”
CBS has since responded to the recent statements made by Burke’s team with a statement saying that the network “stands by the broadcast and will do so in court.”

The explosive documentary came shortly after Burke appeared in a three part interview with American physician, Dr. Phil McGraw, where he publically spoke out, saying that he had no involvement with his sister’s death.
The now 29-year-old, who works in the computer industry, admits that any accusations of his involvement still “blows my mind”.
“Did you do anything to harm your sister JonBenet?” Dr. Phil asked him, to which he replied, “no.”
“Did you murder your sister JonBenet?” he questioned again, which triggered the same one-worded response.
When asked his theory on who might have committed such a heinous crime, Burke responded: “Probably some pedophile in the pageant audience.”
