A woman’s body has been discovered in the ground of an Adelaide primary school.

The body was discovered yesterday just before 5.30pm, 7News reports.

A member of the public reported the find near the corner of Peachey Road and Vincent Street at Smithfield Plains in Adelaide’s north and police are treating it as suspicious.

A post-mortem is due to be conducted today.
