The 25-year-old shared a photo on Instagram of her post baby body standing on the rocks by the ocean – a place that holds particular significance to her – before penning some seriously emotive words about having a realistic body image.

“I find it silly for us as women to worry about our body as we grow a human being inside of us,” the new mum shared, before adding: “It is such an amazing feat to go through pregnancy. And then you have this wonderful lil being that is part you and part of your significant other.”

Instead of bragging about her incredible body just two months after giving birth to her son Tobias, Bethany opted to inspire mum’s to feel good about how they look.

“It’s natural and HEALTHY to gain weight. Here I am two months after giving birth to Tobias. I feel great and healthy,” she explained.

The incredible young mum continued: “It takes 9 months for our bodies to change and grow. So I can say it’s alright to take your time, maybe about 9 months, to get back to the new, healthy, beautiful, and normal you.”

Bethany’s pregnancy-glow game was strong!

Bethany is no stranger to being inspiring, she came close to death in a 2003 after a 14-foot tiger shark took her arm during a surfing session at Tunnels Beach in Kauai, Hawaii.

The Hawaiian-born beauty and her husband, Adam Dirks, welcomed their first child on June 1st where she again took to social media to reveal the news writing, “Adam and I so in love with our lil guy and are stoked to share life with him!”
