The 71-year-old made the shocking revelations during a chat with Melbourne’s 3AW radio, explaining her car was robbed last week.
“I thought ‘gee my car is a bit messy, I never leave my car like that,'” Patti said.
“I looked around and realised my pass for 3AW had gone, my E-tag, sunglasses, perfume. Then I remembered… I did all my shopping, wrapped it, put it in the boot, put them in bags and when I went to the boot there was nothing there,” she added.
Patti’s car was packed full of presents for her grandchildren, her kids and husband Bert Newton.
The star says the robbers stole all of her Christmas gifts as well as her perfume, sunglasses and E-tag.
Remaining optimistic, Patti said the most important thing was that nobody was hurt.
“You’ve got to take the good with the bad I guess,” the beloved presenter conceded.
In 2008, the mother-of-two’s handbag and jewellery worth over $150,000 was stolen while she was at a cafe in Chadstone shopping centre.
Earlier in the month, Bert and Patti told Woman’s Day they couldn’t wait to host Christmas day at their house.
Their daughter Lauren and husband, swimmer Matt Welsh, will bring the children Sam, eight, Eva, seven, Lola, four, and nine-month-old Monty, over to Bert and Patti’s home on Christmas morning.
Santa will already have arrived at their place – but, conveniently, he’ll also be making a stop at Nan and Poppy’s, too.
“Santa comes to their place, for some reason, in a very big way,” Lauren told us with a laugh.
“He leaves presents – some at ours, and some at Nan and Poppy’s.”
