Well, not Barbie exactly. But her “real” counterpart, Lammily, created by artist and researcher Nickolay Lamm.

Lamm has created a “Period Party” accessory pack which includes pads stickers to fit Lammily’s underwear.

There’s also dot stickers and a calendar to monitor Lammily’s menstruation cycle and an informational pamphlet to help young girls become aware of – and understand – the realities of menstruation.

Explaining the accessory pack, the Lammily website states:

“On average, a woman between the ages of 12 and 51 spends a total of six years on her menstrual periods.

“Yet, while being a huge part of female life, this perfectly healthy, natural process is still surrounded by taboos.
