The secret wild side of a couple of koalas was captured on film by Victorian woman, Sharon Bercely. And it’s up there with the most Australian thing to ever happen…
It shows Shazza breaking up fight between two koalas in the middle of the highway.
The pair were too busy having a punch on in the middle of the road to notice a truck speeding down the highway. Thankfully, Sharon’s flailing towel alerted the truck, allowing it to narrowly miss the angry koalas by moving into the emergency lane.
“I’ve never seen the fight in the middle of the road before.” Sharon told Nine News. “They’re so silly. They’re so slow!”
Shazza, being the true blue Aussie hero she is, decided to help prevent our precious wildlife from becoming jerky on the side of the road.
She grabbed her towel from the car and shoos them away.
But most importantly, Shazza wouldn’t let the two koalas get away without a stern talking to.
“Get off the road, ya stupid animals” she yells, making the two koalas stop shrieking like drop bears and wander tentatively off the road.
Another day, another Aussie legend is born.
