These newlyweds didn’t get the speedy getaway they were hoping for when the groomsmen wrapped their car in cling wrap at the reception.
It took the pair two days to get into it, causing them to miss their honeymoon. What’s more, they filed for an annulment three days later because of ‘irreconcilable differences’.

Five days before bride-to-be Zanele Ndlovu, 25, was due to tie the knot, her fiancé was forced to repeatedly punch a 2.5m crocodile when it latched onto her arm during a holiday tour.
Incredibly, she survived the mauling near Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe after the predator performed a ‘death roll’ and tore her arm from her body.
She was airlifted to hospital , where doctors amputated what was left of her limb. In spite of this, the wedding still went ahead and Zanele made it down the aisle.

Maid of honour Amber Wiser thought she had the bouquet toss in the bag, until this 10-year-old girl fought her for it. “Please, I’m 24,” Amber wailed, but her pint-sized competitor was unrelenting.
Finally, after Amber gave up, the girl’s mum ordered her daughter to give it back.

Chris Mallon was left fighting for his life after he fell 3.5m from a banister on the way to his honeymoon suite. He’d just married his bride, Avril, in front of their wedding guests. But after plunging onto a paved area, he suffered a significant brain injury.
His new wife spent their wedding night by his hospital bed. Thankfully, he survived and woke up 10 days later having no memory of his wedding, but says he’s lucky to be alive following the ordeal.

This bride got a shock when her mother-in-law wore a white gown to her wedding. While stunned at first, Amy Pennza explained that her super-frugal mother-in-law saw the dress at an incredible bargain price and couldn’t turn it down.
She said: “The wedding dress was a shock. But it gave me a pretty funny memory. No-one who attended has ever forgotten it. And, you have to admit, weddings can be forgettable.”

When Jake Brookes turned up at his nuptials drunk, the church minister refused to perform the marriage. Furious, the groom put Reverend Ian Hunter in a headlock in front of 150 friends and family.
Jake was arrested at the church in Adelaide, SA, and later convicted of disorderly behaviour and resisting police. The couple split following the incident, but were said to have rekindled the relationship a few weeks later.
