A five-year-old Norwegian boy has helped his dad propose to his girlfriend with a gift and the adorable delivery of the words, “Will you marry, marry my … my dad?”
The sweetest proposal of the year (well, it’s open to debate) occurred as the trio enjoyed a picnic on Dalsnuten hill in Norway, and was filmed for the rest of the world to enjoy.
André Nordstrand uploaded this video to Youtube on May 3, and it’s going viral with over 195,000 views already.
Five-year-old Kristian is the star of the show as he presents his dad’s girlfriend with a wrapped gift, which when unveiled shows a Raider toy replica from Battlestar Gallactica (Nordstrand claims the couple became friends through the watching the series) and one small but important present attached to it. A ring.
Of course Nordstrand received a resounding yes. And as to his little wingman?
“I prepared him well before and promising him a toy he really wanted if he helped me,” Nordstrand wrote on Reddit.
“Was really no problem, he was super excited anyway, really likes my girlfriend.”
Clearly.
