A hidden camera prank unveiled that Daniel Radcliffe doesn’t have the magical touch when he needs to do office work.
The 25-year-old actor shocked an office when he stepped in as Nylon magazine’s makeshift receptionist.
Dressed for the job in a blazer and a collared shirt, Dan attempted to pick up a few tips from Lauren Adler, the mag’s actual receptionist.
The actor managed to cloak his identity for a few minutes before staffers clued in that a former-boy-wizard was sitting at their front desk.
“Nice to meet you. You have great hair!” one lady said. While another exclaimed, “Wow, this is weird.”
“Am I too much of a fan if I take a picture with you?” another girl giggled.
The 25-year-old may have played one of the most famous on-screen characters of all time, but Daniel had a job to do.
The struggle was real when Daniel discovered he couldn’t help one staffer find stamps.
“I’m not sure if I can help you out right now. You might want to come back when someone more experienced is working here,” he admitted to the man.
“I’m struggling with the pressure. I’m cracking already, it’s not been good,” he added.
This would have been the perfect moment to call out “Accio, stamps!”
Things took a turn for the worse when the actor was confronted by former-Disney star, Joe Jonas.
The singer walked into the office for a meeting, attempting frazzle the British star.
“I’m very new and very s***,” Dan apologised to Joe.
“This new guy sucks,” Joe laughed as Dan left his desk.
The actor, who has gotten his kit off for work, discovered that admin was a lot harder than baring all on Broadway.
Daniel, we’d happily give you a second chance. The reception desk is awaiting your magical arrival.
