Channel Nine’s fresh reality dating series, My Mum Your Dad has reportedly been cancelled.
My Mum Your Dad is a dating series designed for single parents hoping to find another chance at love. But unlike any other reality dating series on air, their children were brought along for the experience and had a crucial role to play in their parent’s love-hunting journey.
The series premiered in November 2022, attracting roughly 390,000 viewers– it was considered a huge success.
The match-making series, hosted by Kate Langbroek then made a comeback for its second season, premiering on October 31 with it concluding in late November.
Its premiere attracted 448,000 eager viewers, an increase from its first season.
From pool parties, glamorous events, to cringy and awkward dating moments – viewers saw it all.
However, TV Blackbox has now reported the third season of My Mum Your Dad has been cancelled. It’s assumed the news came quite abruptly considering the network had posted a casting call for the 2024 season.
The publication also reported the news was shared to them before the cancellation news was announced to staff.
However, Nine and Kate are yet to confirm or deny the news.
