Beyoncé might have been drunk in love but for these gorgeous bubs they’re all about being #MilkDrunk.
It’s the latest hashtag taking the internet by storm and now nearly 100,000 proud parents have shared adorable snapshots of their blissed-out babies in complete and utter relax mode post-feed on Instagram.
The movement is so popular it’s even spawned a popular blog milkdrunkdiary.com, by UK journalist Sophia Walker. As she explains on her site, “as any parent knows, that satisfying look on your baby’s face after a hearty feed is priceless.”
“That woozy ‘I don’t know my limit’ expression kinda reminds you of your husband when you first met him. It evokes a mixture of love and laughter,” she adds.
What makes the phenomenon even more touching is the fact that both breast milk and bottle milk-fed babies can be celebrated – there’s no judgement on how mother’s prefer to feed their babies.
