Eleven-year-old Bella Gonzales decided to make a difference this year when her birthday rolled around.
Unlike the average 11-year-old coveting the latest gadgets and toys, Bella chose to run a collection for gifts to give to her local children’s hospital, reports 9News.
Bella’s mother put a call out on Facebook for donations in a just two days, 50 people offered to participate in collection for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Last week the family drove two SUV car loads of gifts to the hospital, which undoubtedly cheered up some sick children.
“I hope they are really happy, and I hope to make them smile,” Bella said.
