Salim Mehajer, the former (disgraced) deputy mayor has listed his infamously extravagant Sydney Mansion up for rent for the teeny pittance of just $3000 a week.
The Lidcombe mansion features six bedrooms and five bathrooms and asks for a bond of $11,800 according to the realestate.com.au listing.
In an Instagram post Mehajer reveals he hand picked “every single item in the house.”
“After 29 years, I’ve decided to leave the Suburb of Lidcombe. Born and raised in this street / suburb, I’ve decided to finally rent it out to one luck family,” he says.
“Yes it’s for Lease and NOT sale.. Did you know I designed, built and hand picked every single item in the house, from the screws that are the hinges to the light bulb luminosity.”
“Slide through some of my carefully selected images (never seen before).”
He finishes the post by saying, “LESSON TO ALL: You live, you learn and you upgrade. In God I trust.”
The home also features 13 underground parking spots, 56 security cameras, an elevator, private sauna and sunken spa baths.
Suddenly $3,000 per week doesn’t sound too bad.
No, wait – yes it does.
It has been quite a year for Salim Mehajer, who has been making headlines since 2015 following his controversial $35 million wedding.
Mehajer has since separated from his wife who has filed an AVO against the former mayor.
Following news of the AVO, Aysha Mehajer the ex-wife of Mehajer chillingly revealed, “I don’t know what he’s capable of.”
No word yet of where in Sydney Salim Mehajer plans on relocating but he does mention the move will be an “upgrade”.
The mind boggles.
