A mother’s complaint to Woolies when they refused to exchange milk she bought from Coles has gone viral.

A Facebook comment from an angry mother has gone viral after she was told she couldn’t exchange milk at Woolworths that she’d actually bought at Coles.

In the post, she wrote: “I got the wrong milk so went to woolies to swap it. The lady at the desk tell me I’m not allowed because it was the coles brand of the lite and I had to talk to coles about it [sic].”

“It’s just milk so I don’t see the problem!,” she continued. “My kids don’t like lite milk so now they have to go without until maybe Saturday when I can borrow some money to get some more from coles.”

“u did ur dash woolies and have lost me business [sic].”

The mother-of-six then took the fight to her own Facebook page. “I try to ring wollies and complain but they tell me they have no oblergashuns to compersate me for my milk all coz it from coles [sic].”

“If somebody wanna pick me up for a drive to coles I’ll swap ya a couple of smokes and pay ya later plz [sic],” she continued.

People were quick to jump on the comments and voice their own similar, er, situations.

One wrote: “I had the same thing happen to me, but my problem was not milk, it was a car. I bought a Hyundai and realized it was the wrong car, so I took it into a Ferrari dealer and wanted them to swap it.”

Another said: “I had the same problem. I was at McDonalds and bought a double quarter pounder. Started driving home, forgot that I don’t like beef so swung into KFC and asked them to swap it for a zinger burger. They said no, now I’m never going to KFC again.”
