‘Tis the season… to treat someone to a cheeseburger and McFlurry!
Torie Keene, from Florida, America, decided to spread a little Christmas cheer on her Wednesday morning by paying for the meal of a customer in line behind her at a McDonalds drive-through.
But little did she know that her random act of kindness would inspire another 250 people to pay it forward.
“It just kept going and going,” said cashier Marisabel Figueroa.
“After the 15th car I started tally marking the number of people that were participating on a piece of paper.”
“I just kept giving everyone the same message, and they were all so stunned and so happy,” she said.
“One lady even paid for the meals of the next three cars behind her.”
The chain reaction lasted from 9am to 3pm and Keene is amazed at the response, admitting that she was “only trying to brighten someone’s day.”
What a wonderful Christmas tale!
Who knew French fries could feel so festive?
