Shocking news has come out of Townsville, where a mother-of-two is facing charges of abuse against her daughters, aged three and five.

According to the Courier Mail, the woman went to police in October 2013 after she split from her ex, the children’s father, to report his domestic violence, claiming she was worried he would end up with unsupervised access.

During her statement, the woman also detailed three occasions where she helped her ex sexually abuse their daughters out of fear.

“She spoke to police … detailing the instances and regularity of the violence she experienced … but also three occasions where both (the man) and herself sexually abused their two young daughters,” crown prosecutor Skye Jerome told Townsville District Court on Tuesday.

The court also heard that the woman “stroked her daughter’s hair and cupped her face as the man sexually abused her” on one of the occasions.

She also said that she pretended to give her daughter oral sex under the order of her ex.

“She says she doubts the children would recall any of the acts because she made it as unfamiliar as possible for the children … trying to distance them, no lights on, they were half asleep,” Ms Jerome said.

During the upcoming trial, the court will hear more about the woman’s bizarre relationship with her ex, including how she “lured” underage girls into having sex with her and her partner between 2006 and 2013.

The prosecutor said, “Because of the violence, she says that she did whatever he asked of her, including producing young girls, including her two daughters, for him to sexually exploit.”
