While the introduction of all-day brekkie at Maccas is a dream-come-true for some, it’s causing havoc for those in the kitchen.
McDonald’s employees jumped on Reddit to tell all about what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Basically, they’re all saying it sucks.
One employee said: “After about 3 pm we do cook-to-order breakfast which takes up so much time.”
“Plus sometimes you get lazy people that just cook a bunch of egg and then use that for the next five hours, in my opinion do not order all day breakfast after 3 pm because you don’t know what you’re going to get, some of my co-workers disgust me.”
Another said: “I work there and to be honest I don’t trust anything from McDonalds (especially after 3/4pm when all the regular day crew go home and it’s just kids mucking around).
“Hash browns – unless we see serious demand (1 in every 5 orders) it’s unlikely a store will have any ready to go. From someone who sees what happens to the food when it’s been sitting, be thankful they are cooking them to order.”
