People who travel to school and work from Parramatta, Liverpool, Merrylands and Blacktown would’ve been caught in a commuter conundrum, with BUSES West employees going on strike this morning from 7am-8am.
As reported by The Daily Telegraph, 200 bus drivers are striking today over pay dispute and working conditions, in the hope that Transit Systems will not only back-pay them, but admit they failed to pass on wage increases.
And it’s not just this morning’s school kids and commuters who will be impacted by the strike; another strike is scheduled for this afternoon at 2pm-4pm.
