In the early hours of Tuesday, Werribee Open Range Zoo welcomed the first lion births in their 32-year history.

The first litter for mother Nilo and father Johari, the triplets we born in a special birthing den away from display, and are being carefully monitored by the Melbourne zoo’s vets and zookeepers via a video camera link.
