Warning: some people may find the following images distressing
A single mum from Surrey in the UK has attracted a huge social media following for her controversial/unique posts about hunting for her food.
Lisa Taylor says she no longer shops in supermarkets, opting to hunt for her meat instead.
“I’m a girl who hunts and cooks. This is my way of meat shopping,” one post on her Facebook page ‘Lisa’s Shooting & Hunting Experience’ reads.
Lisa has amassed over 16,000 followers and regularly posts pictures of her kills and subsequent meals.
Some users are objecting to Lisa’s pictures of dead animals
Padraig Hannifin wrote: “Why celebrate this? I’m from a sheep farming family so I get why it’s done but I don’t get the pride or glee of killing an animal. I never felt it when a fox was killed or when we brought the lambs to get done.”
Animal rights charity Peta also blasted Lisa, claiming she is “callous”.
Lisa has fired back on her Facebook page saying: “I love eating meat and I will hunt my own meat. Nothing gets wasted. So before you jump to conclusions ask me rather than throw abuse.”
