Sydney high schools in lockdown over ‘terror threats’

Police have been made aware of the situation.

Two high schools in Sydney’s southwest are believed to be in lock down following alleged terror threats which have been made over email.

Sir Joseph Banks High School in Revesby and East Hills Boys High School in Panania are in lockdown, the Canterbury-Bankstown Express reports.

They also note that counter-terrorism police have been sent to the schools and Police Minister Troy Grant has been made aware of the situation.

Last year, pro-ISIS graffiti was spray-painted on walls at East Hills Boys High, reports Daily Telegraph.
