A toddler was taken to hospital this morning after being pulled from a pond in Sydney’s west at around 10:30am, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
It is reported the 2-year-old fell into the pond and was pulled out unconscious. He was treated at the scene and taken to Westmead Hospital.
It comes less than a day after a two-year-old drowned in a pool at Sydney’s Macquarie Fields, and less than a week after 23-month-old twins Charli and Robbie both lost their battle after being found floating unconscious in their backyard pool.
A staggering 15 people have now drowned in NSW alone this holiday season.
